The brutal Antifa violence inflicted on journalist Andy Ngo in Portland is part of a growing wave of leftist violent confrontations across the country. The attack appears to have implicit support from local Democrat authorities, including Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler. It’s increasingly clear that from Portland to Berkeley to Charlottesville, Virginia, hardcore leftist brown shirts, led by a growing cadre of Antifa thugs, are resorting to open violence. Intimidation on a regular basis is an acceptable method of political discourse.

When people are reduced to dribbling insanity -- as pc dogma actually does to people, then the last step of applying straight Marxism to a society can be easily accomplished. Antifa might ust be the last step in the plans of Antonio Gramsci and the Frankfurt School.
That was one of the most poorly written articles I have ever read.

Modus operandi is to provoke peaceful citizens into heated arguments. Initiate violence and then blame the victims for showing up with offensive, racist symbols (the US flag, patriotic signs, etc). Then proclaim those on the right got what they wanted—a violent encounter.
Proud Boys are the analagous reaction to the commie gangs like in the 30s in Germany but the PBs don't have a Leader manipulating them. That could change, though, but so far there are not enough of them.

I think some counter punching is in order. That is, unbeknownst to the known individual who is the focus of Antifa violence, a bodyguard is hired for them.
As soon as the Antifa attacks, the bodyguard springs into action, brutalizing the attacker to the point where they need hospitalization, and then immediately departs the area to a waiting escape vehicle driven by an accomplice.
Neither the Antifa nor the focus individual know the bodyguard, and they do not see them again. Plus they are wearing a face and body disguise to make them difficult to identify.
A second accomplice remains in the area to act as a replacement bodyguard.
