Walking barefoot on the beach makes me sleep better at night.
Posted on 07/01/2019 6:51:11 PM PDT by SamAdams76
More on my paid blog. But you must be invited. Not just anybody can access my paid blog. So no link here. Sorry.
Seriously though, walking barefoot on the beach does make me sleep much better and deeper. With vivid dreams.
Or maybe it's the salt air. Maybe it has nothing to do with being barefoot. But it does feel good to be out on the beach with no shoes and spending the day sloshing around in the water and then reading books in a lawn chair. This is the way I would like to live more often.
What was Richard Nixon doing wearing dress shoes on the beach. He was doing it all wrong!

"Vivid dreams" --- What ....... dreams of laying in a comfortable hammock around 10:00 p.m. as a southerly breeze wafts through the stately old oaks all around?
I hear you about the goodness of walking barefoot on the beach ....... but then you gotta clean your feet.

"I hear you about the goodness of walking barefoot on the beach ....... but then you gotta clean your feet." All this beach / flesh eating talk!
A friend of mine had terrible athlete's foot. We used to sail in small sunfish sailboat in the Hudson River in the 80's. One afternoon we had a big thunderstorm come through and we spent 45 minutes capsized in the shallows with our feet touching bottom. Turns out, Hudson River muck cured his athlete's foot. They've cleaned up the river a lot since then. YMMV

ya know, I grew up in Yorktown, va, many coves with beaches in the woods, redoubts running through forest from wars gone by, then spent the other months in florida , sanibel Island, Ft pierce, had long beautiful beaches..
now you better watch out for weirdo’s prowling in the night
but the premise to me just says back to nature , back to Eden, feet in sand, breathing air thanking God..yea thats the ticket
