With the well-earned success of the Women’s Soccer Team in France, Megan Rapinoe has been much in the news. Soccer fans are focused on the goals and team play that has gotten the women two games away from the World Cup. On the other hand, those, like me, who cannot give a fat rat’s backside about soccer have been stunned by her display of selfishness.
They are not all dykes. 2-3 at most.
does this team receive any tax dollars?
She’s begging for attention with purple hair, anthem protest, etc. embarrassing to watch an old lady grasping as straws.....
That’s nice to hear. 3 minimum, though, because of Megan, and a pair that announced they were getting “married.”
She’s not my idea of a sportswoman. She believes that she is acting like a man when that is the furthest thing from the truth.
Only one of them is on the USWNT, but they are teammates on the Olando Pride. My prediction is that it will never last. Both are in their mid 30s, and the “wife” of the pair will realize they only thing they had in common is soccer; and then decide she really isn’t a lesbian.

US Soccer Federation is a nonprofit organization...Yes, indeed, the team gets tax breaks...Indeed, our tax money does support this team...
Had the coaches taken action benching her for a game or two and say the team represents the entire USA including those who support the current Administration and USA Soccer does not want to alienate any fans, I would have supported the team. Instead they tried to ignore the insult to millions of Americans so screw the USWNT and screw women’s pro soccer.

If the US Soccer Federation listened to your advice, I would be enthusiastic for USWNT again...
US Soccer Federation does not want to do anything because it thinks that winning the World Cup will be good enough...It thinks that everyone will be happy once the USWNT is the world champion...
I think many members of the current USWNT does not believe that they have a special responsibility...They have a special responsibility to represent both liberals and conservatives. United States is not just composed of liberals...
When Obama was President, the USWNT visited White House...I have not heard of any team member who refused to go...
Now Trump is President...Some members already said that they are not going. It is unclear that the rest of the team will go.
That is not right...Members of a national team should visit White House even if the president is a Republican...
If this USWNT does not visit White House during Trump years, it is sending a message that it is a partisan organization...A national team should be a non-partisan organization...
I don’t care if members of Golden State Warriors refused to visit White House...They do not represent United States...They do not represent me...
However, USWNT is a different story...It is supposed to represent me...
Ms. Rapinoe encouraged rest of her team to not go to White House:
“Considering how much time and effort and pride that we take in the platform that we have,” she said, “I don’t think that I would go and I would encourage my teammates to think about giving that platform or having that co-opted by an administration that doesn’t feel the same way and doesn’t fight for the same things we fight for.”
She said this during the press conference before France game...

This woman is in a foreign country representing US...
Brundage took the appropriate adult action. Unfortunately, American sports has been taken over by leftwing politics and the actions of Kaepernick and this American hating lesbian are now acceptable........and it’s going to get worse.

Black power salute...Media constantly portrays those two athletes as heroes...I do not agree.
Next year, Olympics will be in Tokyo...
I expect some US national team members to refuse to visit White House before the Olympics...It would not be surprising. Olympic athletes usually visit White House before they leave...President will wish them a good luck during the meeting.
