"Woke killed the summer box office. Yep, Trump broke Hollywood. Man, I miss T&A."

Will Smith is a damn good actor. Though he's got some pretty screwed up kids. I liked him in the Men in Black movies. Especially MiB3 where he goes back in time to NYC in 1969, particularly the scene at Shea Stadium, brought back some fond childhood memories, good times! A dead White guy, Sam Goldwyn, though the quote is sometimes attributed to playwright Moss Hart, once said "if you want to send a message use western union"

a bland leading man who is treated like an imbecile because he’s white and hetero and we must now grovel before the woke.

If Hollywood wants to make movies about strong, capable black people, I have no problem with that. Why should I? The world has plenty of strong, capable black people.

If someone wants to make a movie directly showing White people being constantly superior to Black people, that bothers me. It's racist. It's hateful. We shouldn't do that.

Of course, Hollywood does not make such movies. Instead, they make movies directly showing Black people being constantly superior to White people. "Black Panther" was a good example of this.

Why do that? Why?

I’m so out of touch that I did not know there was an MIB III.

The majority of the movie going American public are tired of spoiled Hollywood degenerates lecturing them and mocking them and their beliefs and values. Americans want to be entertained at the movies, not preached to by hypocritical SJW posers, humiliated and scolded.

Get woke, go broke.

Make movies people want to see, and not be made fun of, not be preached at, not be insulted and not be afraid for the kids to see...............

I will bypass anything, including actors I like, if I feel like I'm going to be lectured, shamed, criticized, or talked down to.

And I don't think that most people want to be treated that way either, especially by self-important "entertainers".

Nothing but remakes lately from Hollywood, like Pet Cemetery, A Star is Born, Overboard (roles reversed of course), Childs Play. A remake of An American Werewolf in London is planned with roles reversed again. Even on TV, Bless This Mess is just a remake of Green Acres.

I really shouldn't care that much I guess. My life goes on regardless......

I haven’t been to a movie theater in over 15 years. I see no reason to ever set foot in one again. Nor do I watch any of this crap on DVD or pay TV. I wouldn’t watch it for free.

Too bad about MIB. I have grown to like Chris Helmsworth and think he has done a good job developing the Thor character. He is much better than just a “comic book actor”.

Hollywood needs to come up with more original films. The last time I saw a movie was “The Mule” by Clint Eastwood. Need to make more movies like that rather than come out with remakes, sequels and prequels.

They need to make another Indiana Jones film. This time with a black female lead. It will be box office gold!

I saw MIB1. I liked it. Tommy Lee Jones’s deadpan humor was classic.

But I never saw MIB2 and MIB3. Were either of them any good?

Will Smith as James West was absurdly embarassing, and a harbinger of PeeCee propaganda to follow.

Yep, my friend told me that quote years ago and I just said it back to her yesterday. I call it the sound of a soapbox being dragged into the action.
