Why Are Leftist Politicians Always “Dehydrated”?
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

When will these leftists learn how to drink water? – BREAKING: We have an epidemic of dehydration breaking out among leaders of the globalist left! Check out this video of German despot Angela Merkel coming down with a case of the shakes at an outdoor ceremony yesterday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky:

After this disturbing video was taken, Merkel told her willing accomplices in the press that she was suffering from “dehydration” and was just peachy after she went behind closed doors for a bit and drank some water. So that’s the narrative the fake news media has parrotted to the public.

What is it with these evil globalist/leftists and their seeming inability to consume water before they go out and collapse in public? I mean, who could forget this scene of the Fainting Felon…well…fainting and having to literally be thrown into her mobile hospital van by her aides as she fled the scene of a 9/11 ceremony in New York City back during the 2016 campaign?

Or how about this one, of Jerrold Nadler almost passing out cold while seated at a recent outdoor event in New York?

Nadler had to be rushed to a nearby emergency room following this incident.

Both the Coughing Crook and Jabba the Nadler also blamed their public displays of dysfunction on the handy excuse of “dehydration.” It seems to be the stock excuse used by evil leftist politicians whenever the fall ill in public.

The consistency of the excuse/narrative also tells us that it is most likely a line of smelly BS. There was a reason why the Fainting Felon traveled around in that black van during the 2016 campaign, a van that was equipped like your basic EMS vehicle: She was suffering from an array of very obvious ailments, as signaled by her constant fits of uncontrolled coughing in the middle of speeches and the fact that she has to be helped by at least one strong person to climb even a few stairs to a podium.

Jabba the Nadler used to weigh about 600 pounds, as you can see here:

He’s lost much of that weight over the years, but is still a short little munchkin who is massively overweight. Interestingly, he seems to still be wearing the same suits, as his pants now come up to his bust line. No telling what sort of actual ailments he is dealing with.

Evil Angela, as can clearly be seen in the video above, is also woefully out of shape, and her grey pallor makes her look like a walking heart attack.

Perhaps this is just the lot in life for those who, like these three, make the projection of outright evil their life’s pursuit. Or perhaps, given the state of modern medical care, all of these individuals most likely consume several prescription medications every day, especially given their ages and poor physical conditions: Merkel is 64, the Fainting Felon is 71, Nadler is 72. Many such modern medications can lead to dehydration, especially when taken with other unrelated medications.

Everything on the political left is a narrative in action, even when its advocates become publicly ill. The stock narrative for that is “dehydration.” Because, hey, when you are a leftist politician there is no reason to tell the truth, since you know the fake news media is just going to parrot your lies.

That is all.

" By the time they got to that location, at least one of the teens was in serious trouble and five or six others were starting the first symptoms of heat stroke. ”

More likely evidence on how soft kids are nowadays.

When we were younger we spent every year in the hay field baling hay and stacking hay in the barn. In July August heat in Tennessee ain't no picnic but we did it. Being in the barn as the stack rose was the worse. The higher the stack, the nearer the tin roof you got. Aid the flying dust and felt you were coughing mud.

Course we keep ourselves "hydradated' from a plastic gallon milk jug frozen the night before. and we weren't drinking alcohol or on mood altering drugs....

Forgot I also played football too and at that time, they handed out salt tablets and gave on a tiny cupful of water. Practice during the summer ws hot, wonder none of us kids didn't drop of dehydration but none did.

Blowing out all that hot air dehydrates one.

Politicians effectively practice not drinking. More drinking means more peeing which means more missing out in meetings.

Many committees hold votes based on the quorum of those present. If you’re the big holdout on a particular issue, a common trick of the opposition is to conduct the vote the moment you leave the room.

I agree. Threw hay one summer in south GA. We’d play all day outside. No one passed out.

Democrats suffer from a complete lack of self awareness.

They play on video games all day in their bedrooms.

Gad I’m glad I was a kid in the seventies before everything got soft.

I was prone to dehydration several years ago. Too much coffee and not enough water. Not enough exercise. Too much weight for my activity level.

You cannot do the same stuff at 50 that your body let you get away with at 25.

Drink some water, get some electrolytes.

You have to keep your supply of virgin white children up to date. It sucks when they pass their expiration date. You have to go out and get new ones.

(I am, of course kidding. Its been decades since I last drank the blood of virgin youth.)

“Anyone can dehydrate.”

True, but that’s beside the point.

The point is that whenever politicians stumble, faint, have a coughing fit, or slur their words, they will naturally wish to minimize the incident and attribute it to something other than their own poor health, weakness or clumsiness. They will always prefer to chalk it up to extreme weather, poor stagecraft, or other unsafe or adverse conditions. Calling it dehydration is a way of doing this.

The point is that if politicians are Democrats, the press will accommodate their wishes, minimize the incident, follow the desired narrative and avoid any potential embarrassment. If a Democrat politician wishes to call an incident “dehydration”, the press will dutifully call it just that.

If President Trump were to stumble, faint or slur his speech, and attributed it to dehydration, do you think the press would call it that? No, they would find far less innocuous words to describe whatever happened. They would do their best to embarrass him, show him as weak, clumsy or unhealthy, accuse him of hiding serious illnesses or addictions, and question his fitness to serve as POTUS.

More than wondering how leftist politicians can be dehydrated, I am wondering how any blood flows in their bodies, since they are all a bunch of heartless b—-ards.

Hence my second and final sentence.

I think this could be the reason.

They limit drinking because they don’t want to have to excuse themselves to go urinate.

I may have misunderstood your post - I thought you were criticizing EyesOfTX for writing about dehydration story - that he must have had nothing better to talk about.

I thought it was a good analysis of how the press coddles Democrats and reinforces favorable narratives that make them appear faultless and normal. Democrats faint, stumble and slur due to unfavorable weather or hazardous conditions, while Republicans who do the same are mocked for clumsiness, unfitness, poor health or even addiction.

Apologies if I misunderstood you.

No big thing. People dehydrate and get well and go on with life. Some treat it as if they survived cancer.
Of course, we need to be careful but these cases in the news were mild.
Thanks for being concerned. FReepers rule!

“Of course, we need to be careful but these cases in the news were mild.”

Ok, now I see where you were coming from. I agree, people today generally make too big a deal about dehydration.

I think the article was focusing on the political angle, where leftist politicians and their MSM shills choose a word like “dehydration” for the opposite reason; not to exaggerate their condition, but to minimize it.

Take Hillary Clinton for example: she seemed to be suffering from some serious health issues in the final months of her campaign; weird head bobbing and eyes rolling, falling down, coughing fits, inability to climb stairs, inexplicable disappearances from public for weeks at a time, the presence of a traveling doctor.

She and her handlers did NOT want the voters to question her fitness, or possible substance abuse, so offering innocuous explanations such as “dehydration” would be far preferable to diabetes, alcoholism, MS, Alzheimer’s, or whatever.

The press always help the Leftist politicians minimize any public episodes that may otherwise raise health concerns by reinforcing these innocuous narratives like dehydration or heat exposure. If President Trump ever faints or has a coughing fit, you can be sure the press won’t let him pass it off as mere “dehydration”.

I think that was point of the article.
