Anyone can dehydrate. The only ones to make a big thing out of it are those who don’t have anything else worth talking about.

Diarrhea could do it too. Could be both.
Any person can dehydrate, and as you age, it’s more likely to occur (if you don’t drink adequate liquids). I also have this theory that medications (for various ailments) might accelerate dehydration.
There was an episode in Germany around five years ago, with one of their ‘ultra’ modern trains (which was supposed to have AC units). Around mid-day in July high temperature...a group of teens got onto one particular car which had no functional AC unit, and once it left this station....the next stop was 40 minutes away. By the time they got to that location, at least one of the teens was in serious trouble and five or six others were starting the first symptoms of heat stroke. An ambulance was called for that group.

Like domesticated turkeys that will open their mouths in a rain storm and drown. The turkeys in the leftist democrat party don’t have that part in their small brains that tells them “I’m thirsty …I need water”.

Medications, or drugs, could contribute, for sure. Certainly, coffee, soda and alcohol are culprits.
