The big media and Democrat meltdown about President Donald Trump telling ABC vulture George Stephanopoulos that he would be open to accepting opposition research from foreign countries—with no obligation to tip off the FBI—is a classic case of the ridiculous meeting the sublime 101.

The president is right on this. Why would you run to the FBI about receiving an offer of Oppo-Research? If you don’t want it, don’t take it. This was a very honest and realistic response, not some programmed ‘righteous anger’ at the very idea. He resisted being nudged into such phony behavior by the ‘very concerned’
