So, when you see the Times trying to intimidate Barr and Durham away from looking into the CIA’s role in all of that, you know that the investigation is on the right track.

When CIA officials who worked for John Brennan are so nervous they go looking for cover from their media toadies, that’s good news for all real Americans.

If it isn’t criminal it is as you say academic. If nothing happens to the deep state goons next time a socialist/communist/democrat wins the white house they will never lose it ever again and the deep state goons will be turned loose on half the country.

Increasingly I am not looking for justice anymore, the DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA/IRS are corrupt and beyond redemption from the top down I trust none of them. Twenty years ago I can’t imagine thinking this much less saying it.

The point you’re making doesn’t whiz me off as much as THIS one if it means what it sounds like: “While the Justice Department review is not a criminal inquiry...” WTH?! Are we to understand that Barr and Durham are NOT looking for criminal wrongdoing with an eye to punishment; but are just gathering info in order to sweep it under the rug later. Barr & Durham are lifers in DOJ! Will they convict their career buddies? Hell No!
