As NFL labor negotiations Opens a New Window. loom over the 2019 season, the NFL Players Association is already warning players to save money Opens a New Window. to prepare for a possible work stoppage in 2021.
In a Tuesday email, NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith advised NFL agents to tell their clients to budget their income to account for a player strike or lockout by ownership. Ill not watch till they begin to rip off each others heads and place the head on spikes at the fifty yard line. Therefore Ive no dog in this fight
... yawn...
The NFL cannot die soon enough. It is a drug. I can’t take seeing yet another year of the morbidly obese 65 year old “man” crammed into “his” jersey to support a group of millionaires who despise him.
Come on players. DEMAND 150% increase in wages and benefits! You deserve that.
Inaccurate headline. The NFLPA is not the NFL.
I cut the rest of the headline because it did not fit.
Those morbidly obese sports wackos are silly and yet sad.
I haven’t watched a stupor bowl since the 80s.
No SB, no problem for me.
Everybody who cares about this raise your hand. [crickets]
About what I thought.
So you did not watch the Cowboys, Packers, Patriots dynasties?
Just what that worthless sport needs: one more reason not to watch it.
“You deserve that.”
I believe one of the main points that is going to come up that may slow the contract negotiations is the part where the players are demanding the clubs get the grass stains out of the players uniform pants at the knees.
Millionaires shouldn’t be dirty until after the opening kick off. Those stains are tough and the players wives and girlfriends can’t do a lot of laundry if they’ve been beaten unconscious by the players.

No Fan League? Don’t watch it anymore, so I don’t give a rats a$$.
Friday night lights in Texas is better football anyway. Free parking, affordable tickets (free for seniors citizens,) good halftime show with the HS bands and dancers, $2 hot dogs, and our kids are playing. Ya all come back now ya hear?
NFL sucks...bunch of anti-American, virtue-signaling assh0les.
“Inaccurate headline. The NFLPA is not the NFL.”
Posted does not match actual.
Absolutely its better.
Because its the kids for whom the game is appropriate actually playing.
Not grown men who should be performing a task for adults.
If I was still a fan, the "kneeling" millionaires issue cemented that I would find something better to do with my time and money.
I hope they strike and piss off the remaining fan base.
I just do not understand why we use zillions in taxpayer money to build stadiums and infrastructure to support professional sports teams.
Gee, that’s a shame.
