Filing suit in America, where winning a libel case is near impossible, rather than in Britain where cases are won every day, is curious, and suggests that discovery rather than winning is the real motive. Sincerely wishing her all the best with the case.

This huge though, even if it is Politico. It will bring the intel folks into the courtroom, and they won’t be able to stall it for ‘ongoing investigations’ because the IG report and the release of documents will occur soon.

Every lawsuit that is filed is just one more crack in the Deep State’s armor. It’s like firing a gun repeatedly at the same spot in a concrete wall. Sooner or later a “hole” is opened up!

“Pollutico alert! “
Why do you take that tack? The lawsuit is very real, no matter who reports on it. And this one will drag the FBI into the proceedings. Wished I had a front-row seat when the trial begins.

"Stefan Halper is a rat----er and a spy, who embroiled ad innocent woman in a conspiracy to undo the 2016 Presidential election and topple the President of the United States of America." That is one hell of a way to start a lawsuit and not mince words about it.

A Russian-born British scholar is suing an alleged FBI informant and four news outlets for allegedly defaming her by linking her to Russian efforts to influence President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.Yep, Pollutico Alert, Fake News, first sentence.

Your "Pollutico Alert" is well applied, the Gateway Pundit's title for the same news contradicts Pollutico's Hoax Russia, Russia, Russia narrative:
"British Scholar Sues Deep State Spy Stefan Halper and The WaPo, WSJ, NYT and MSNBC for Linking Her to Trump-Russia Hoax"

I’m storing it in my documents for future uses.
I was having too much fun with the wording and probable impact on the spygate thugs.

The president has put in place an organization that contains the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. Thats going to be very, very powerful. That database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that its never been done before. - Maxine Waters, 2013 Our Government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the Government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means to declare that the Government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private criminal would bring terrible retribution!!
