"Arthur‘s creator Marc Brown wasn’t happy to hear that Alabama Public Television pulled his beloved PBS series’ season 22 premiere because it featured a same-sex marriage.
"The channel decided to air a re-run of a previous episode rather than the historic episode, which saw Mr. Ratburn — Arthur’s longtime teacher — marry his partner, to the surprise of his students who didn’t know he is gay.
"Mike Mckenzie, the director of programming at APT, told AL.com that the decision came in mid-April when the channel was notified by WGBH and PBS about the episode, titled “Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone.”"

Anyone who introduces the impressionable mind of a child to homosexuality whether it’s thru a book, TV or any other medium is a pedophile in my opinion.
Nobody wants to see that sh!t. We voted against it and a small cadre if black robed tyrants forced this nonsense on us. The country is solidly against this abomination. Homos should be glad we don’t throw them off of tall buildings like Muslims do.

ONE: I happen to be in the room for a sec or two a few weeks ago when an old Arthur was playing and Mr. Rat whatever struck me as pretty damn gay.
TWO: They take for granted that kids have any concept of “gay”.

But they don’t mind at all when classic great kids shows and movies from REAL Disney and so forth are locked up (Song of the South, Speedy Gonzalez) or altered (Lady and the Tramp). All because it offends THEIR precious wimpy sensibilities.
It all bespeaks why I for one detest this “outing” everywhere of ....uh...homos.
THEY BRING UP THE WHOLE TOPIC OF SEXUALITY.
NO sexuality is appropriate for children, although over my adulthood “children’s” movies and the shows sure haven’t had much trouble depicting situations a bit too sexual and sometimes just using pop music that is too suggestive.
The love that dare not speak it’s name now won’t shut up.
In my grandfather’s time it was never talked about. In my father’s time it was whispered about. In my time it was shouted openly. I hope I’m gone before it’s mandatory.
Being queer or likewise perverse is just wrong. Anybody who endorses it or even does not condemn it is also wrong.

I’m not a babble thumper but what is what the Bible says and so the discussion is closed if you hope to be on the right side of God.
I don’t think Speedy Gonzales was actually Disney. I’m pretty sure he was Warner Bros.
But yeah, darn shame that Song of the South was banned. Uncle Remus was probably a better role model for black youth than most of the blacks around right now. And let’s not forget the crap The Little Mermaid had gone through thanks to some two-bit journalists, where they demonized Ariel despite her actually being one of the more relatable characters.
