I haven’t tried to watch TV since I cat-sat for a friend back in December.
I found it completely unwatchable. There wasn’t a single channel that had anything I found interesting.
And the commercials were ridiculous. At least 50% of the time was commercials; honestly, it seemed like 60%. This is watching cable TV, “pay TV,” which was originally supposed to be “commercial free.” What an absolute joke.
I can’t understand how anyone can watch that. The talking head shows were stupid, all a bunch of nincompoops who had not one thing worth listening to to say.
The drama shows were equally stupid. The reality TV shows appeared to be written for retarded teenagers.
Incredible that people pay for such swill to be piped into their homes.
Not ‘strange’, just not desirable by most conservatives.
Fox News is getting the Lachlan Murdoch treatment.
Original newwork owner Rudolph Murdoch (net worth 20.8 Billion!!) is slowly retiring at the great age of 88.
He has bestowed the property of Fox News to his oldest son, Lachlan, who is known to be very liberal.
Lach’ is also known to despise Pres. Trump, and most right wing perspectives.
Lach’ greatly admires people like Megyn Kelly, and wanted to bring her back to Fox after her $62. Million Dollar misadventure at NBC, but Papa said ‘No!’.
Fox is trying to expand their audience.
I am sure that even liberals are tired of the daily “sky is falling” at the Fake News channels.
In the long run it maybe good for President Trump.
Liberals may get used to watching Fox News because it is calmer and logical.
They may even watch President Trump and reach their own conclusions instead of being fed collusion, impeachment, obstruction at the Fake News channels.
You’d better hope not because it is the only conservative news station that is watched by most people.
Only the rare viewer goes to OANN or even knows what it is.
Disney doesnt own fox news from what I gather. But it is now under Fox Corporation. Who knows who runs that new entity. We need a conservative network which can reach everyone with true news. With worldwide scope.
There is a gay network there, especially at the VP level. Shep Smith is powerful player there as a result and Napolitano is protected. And of course this is why they love “Mayor Pete”. This is what I was told by an insider there, but I can’t provide names so take it or leave it.

Television can really be hard to stomach after one has given it up for a while. Inane at best, and downhill from there.
My octogenarian mother - who has long tended to have the television on just for noise - has been talking about cutting the cord because even the food shows "are just crappy now." She already stopped watching Fox News a while back.
Easy fix, stopped watching their manipulative BS a long time ago. I do not need to have my news adjusted for me.
If they removed pharma ads, the support the troops stuff and that repetitive one about the Masonic hospital, things would be somewhat better.
Almost immediately the day it was announced the Murdoch youth were taking over FOX went straight into a nosedive. We saw it, and gave our news business over to OANN.
No more FOX at this house.
