But it makes sense when you consider they hired Donna Brazaille, who committed one of the greatest journalistic crimes in political history by leaking CNN questions to Hillary.

How did you read this article and somehow decide it was saying candidates shouldn’t be covered at all?

Candidates don't do "Town Halls" unless they can pack them with their supporters.

And considering what people say about candidates they don't like, isn't it best if the journalists ask the tough questions, rather than the crowd?

Yes, it makes for a phony event, but give the tickets to those who support other candidates (or no candidates) and an event can really get out of control.

People will be asking the candidates tough questions enough as the campaign goes on.

It is very deceptive and corrupt for a news organization to call a cherry picked audience a “town hall”.

I’m not ok with that, I think it is a betrayal of ethics and journalistic standards.

If they are going to broadcast a standing ovation from an audience they allowed to be cherry picked, then inform the viewers that the candidates picked their most ardent supporters to be in the audience.

Wouldn’t mind OAN, but no real on air talent. They need to start ponying up some bucks and suck the air from Fox. They are trending left. Kill the ratings, kill the trajectory.

..you can count on anti-Trump screeds from Chris Wallace, the political advice of ex-DNC chair Donna Brazile, and the odd pot shots from the likes of Judge Andrew Napolitano, with anti-Trumpster Neil Cavuto bringing up the rear.

Don't forget the inestimable Shepard Smith. Shep is first in line to garner the DNC talking points and regurgitate them on air.

As long as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity are on Fox, I'm going to keep watching.

Frankly, without Carlson, Hannity, Rush, and Judicial Watch, Trump would have been impeached or forced to resign.
