Since the settlement of Jamestown in 1607 and the start of the Colonial period, the U.S. has been predominantly white.
But the white share of the U.S. population has been dropping, from a little under 90% in 1950 to 60% in 2018. It will likely drop below 50% in another 25 years.
White nationalists want America to be white again. But this will never happen. America is on its way to becoming predominantly nonwhite.

They are majority Catholic/evangelical and many are hard working, so they can be cultivated.

Fresh out of the military, I took a job as a photographer.
The American Nazi party, or whatever it was called back in the sixties, had attempted to infiltrate a school or some such and I went there to shoot some pictures.
They left and I left right behind them. Walking down the sidewalk while fiddling with my camera, much like texting-while-walking people do today, I unconsciously fell into step with the ‘troopers,’ being fresh out of the military.
There was a TV presence at the scene. The cameraman spent more time on me than on the ‘troopers!’ That night on the evening news, the footage was run and it looked like I was an official photographer for the American Nazi party, marching right along with them.

I am not a concern troll, I am a concerned American who worries about the future.
I am just saying that the GOP needs to abandon the social issues and focus on the economy and immigration. Period.
Some are, many aren’t. Which is exactly why the term is stupid and a useless descriptor.
“Hispanics” from the Southern Cone like Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, and Southern Brazil are often Caucasian. Peruvians, Bolvians, and people from Central America are often largely Indio. Northern Brazilians are often African or mulatto.
To pretend that all of these people have common cause is ridiculous.
On the phrase “white nationalist”:
It’s a confusing phrase. It doesn’t usually mean the person is white and an American nationalist. It means someone who wants the nation ruled by whites.
I don’t know whether Steve King used the phrase in its original meaning or simply meant American nationalists who are white, who would be better off calling themselves nationalist whites. In either case, he was talking about other people, not himself. For that, he got taken off committee leadership positions. Seems that you can’t even use the phrase. You don’t have to be one, you just have to mention that other people are, and you receive the overpolished floor.
It is ridiculous to have an immigration system like we have but it’s also stupid to say anyone with a drop of any blood but European as a minority. My family is full of mongrels. All capalitists and conservatives

The problem is American nationalism used to implictly be white, and now it’s no longer the case. We’re entering uncharted territory in relation to Non-whites being such a large portion of the population. They have been longing for a pretext to neuter King for years, he didn’t do anything wrong.
