The Democrat/Media Smear Machine Shifts Into Overdrive

It’s gonna be all-smear all the time at CNN and MSNBC. – You can always tell what the fake news media’s marching orders from the DNC are on any given day by looking at what they’re doing on Twitter. Especially in the evenings, Twitter is always the leading indicator of where the next day’s narrative will be going.

That “federal prosector” is, of course, Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who has been tapped by Attorney General William Barr to lead his investigation into the origins of the massive 2016 effort mounted by the FBI to spy on and entrap members of the Trump Campaign and Trump Transition team. Durham does indeed come to the task with an “apolitical” reputation thanks to decades of major accomplishments in both Republican and Democrat administrations.

It is that reputation that CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the Democrat/Media smear machine will now go about trying to tarnish any way they possibly can. They will do this not because there is anything wrong with Mr. Durham or what he is attempting to accomplish, but because they themselves are a pack of frightened, cornered rats with nowhere else to go.

So, today’s first attack on Durham will be that he is now being used as a sword by the Bad Orange Man in the Oval Office who tarnishes everyone around him. Likely suspect James Comey, our national Teenage Drama Queen, set that narrative up in his conveniently-scheduled “townhall” on – guess where? – CNN last week, and the rest of the Democrats and media have slavishly grasped onto it and parrotted it ever since.

In this world view, everyone around the President becomes corrupted by his personal aura. Thus, William Barr is corrupt; thus, John Durham must also be corrupt. See how that works? Convenient, right?

While that narrative is ongoing, the next step is for the New York Times and Washington Post to assign a small army of fake reporters and research staff to dig into every aspect of Durham’s background and personal life in an effort to find something else – preferably something real, but that’s not a requirement – with which to smear his reputation. If that effort fails, they will just fall back on publishing fake stories that rely on their standard “unidentified sources” to do the job.

This is all right there in the Democrat/media playbook, their second-most-used tactic, right behind the always-reliable “projection.”

The other big thing that happened on Twitter last night was that the hashtag #LindseyGrahamResign was trending for several hours. This little bit of social media shaming popped up after Graham introduced a bill that would actually be a great approach to helping alleviate the ongoing invasion at our Southern border by allowing the Trump Administration to hold aliens making dubious asylum claims for 100 days rather than having to just release them into the population after 20 days.

That makes all kinds of sense given that 87% of these illegals never show up for their scheduled adjudication hearings. The extra 80 days would give the system time to process them and send well over 90% of them back to their country of origin once it is determined they have no legitimate claim to asylum in the United States.

But the Democrats can’t have that, because they view these illegal immigrants as a huge future voter bloc. So, now Lindsey Graham must be shamed and smeared by the Democrat/media smear machine.

Really, this is threatening to get out of hand for the bad guys, since they already have so many other smears ongoing. They have to keep smearing President Trump; they and fake Republican Sen. Richard Burr feel the need to keep smearing Don, Jr.; they’ve been going after Barr since they figured out that he wasn’t the deep state plant they all hoped he would become; they’re mounting this budding campaign against Durham and now will go after their former 2nd-favorite Republican squish (when he was following John McCain around like a puppy on a leash) Lindsey Graham?

Man, that’s a lot of smearing to get done. Even on 24-hour cable news channels, that’s really stretching the available air time.

So, they’re going to have to crank the smear machine into overdrive. If you are planning to travel through our nation’s airports, where you will become part of CNN’s captive audience, you might want to invest in a good set of earplugs.

Nancy Pelosi actually described the smear technique in a press conference.
Apparently destroying people is no big deal to a Democrat, as long as using it gets them back in power.

In 2017, at a press conference, Pelosi blithely revealed the tried-and-true Democrat demonization tactic called the “wrap-up smear.”

PELOSI: “We Democrats call it the ‘wrap-up smear.’ You smear somebody, with falsehoods and all the rest,
and then you merchandise it to the media,” Pelosi said matter-of factly, as if she were giving out a recipe for apple pie.

SOUND FAMILIAR? This patented Democrat criminal MO was used against Justice Kavanaugh.

Hillary is extremely good at this——in 2016 she’d “leak” what she said was damaging info on Trump to the media.

Then when the smear was published-—she’d wave around the clipping to show how she was the superior candidate.

It’s too bad Durham has been diverted from persecuting the corrupt political class in Ct. The whole state government is one big extortion ring.

I guess that will have to wait until Obama is stood against the wall.

As a Ct native and refugee in the south, I hate Ct with a passion.
