The new parent dress code has been posted to the schools website.
Parents, we do value you as a partner in your childs education, Outley Brown, herself a graduate of Madison High School, said in the memo. However, please know we have to have standards, most of all we must have high standards.

Good for her. Stand your ground, Principal Brown!
Get ready to be called nasty names on Twitter and Instagram.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Lasme the Taz wants pictures!

That is a very elite, sexist, racist thing to say.
Bonnets? Bonnets are Gateway Attire to all manner of slovenly, trashy and vulgar modes of appearance.
First, a girl throws a lacey, white bonnet on, next thing you know, she’s dying her hair green, wearing skirts up to ‘here’ and getting tattoos up the yahoo!!” (Sarcasm off)
As long as we can still wear yoga pants, Im good.
Parents are NOT what they used to be.
Oh come on. Many a good schoolmarm wore bonnets in the 18th & 19th century.
They look like shower caps that go over rollers. Men wear them too, but those are called do-rags.
Uh, no , standards be rayciss!
Gawd, we now have to be told not to wear pajamas to an elementary school?!?
