A government shutdown, a seemingly unending trade conflict, a Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives that has energized the party’s left, a parade of contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination—professional investors have had a cascade of political news to digest since Barron’s published its fall 2018 Big Money poll of professional investors in October.

In the spring survey, as with last fall’s, we asked participants to share their views on political and policy issues. Based on poll results, America’s money managers are pretty pleased with President Donald Trump.

A plurality of managers responding to our spring poll gave the president a B grade for his performance since November’s midterm elections. A strong majority of 63% graded him C or better.

If the knew what was going to happen in the future, they wouldn’t have to manage other people’s money - they’d have enough of their own!

I would not call C a good grade. But maybe these days it is.

If you think any Democrat has a prayer in 2020 you have a hole in your head. Look at that gaggle of losers. Look at them.

Any Democrat win in 2020 should be regarded as outright fraudulent as outright vote rigging is the only way that Trump loses.

that’s why the blue states are removing Trump (these people are retarded) due to this “tax returns”. THEY HAVE TO CHEAT in order to win.

I am not sure the Blue states can legally remove Trump’s name. I think they are just blowing smoke. You’ll notice that nothing has been said about that in a couple of weeks.

It’s a federal election, they aren’t going to get away with attaching unconstitutional requirements to it.

The FEC might have a say in whether a political party in an individual state can remove a national party candidate’s name.

Perhaps the FEC or SC could disband a party that tried to do that. Then, their own candidate would suffer.

Why do ‘major political parties’ exist and when did they gain such power? They are not mentioned in The Constitution, IIRC.

Such an attempt could become a slippery slope in the future, if the ‘ruling’ political party in a state can set all sorts of requirements beyond what The Constitution sets.

It could definitely lead to a constitutional crisis.

“I am not sure the Blue states can legally remove Trump’s name”

they can’t, and SCOTUS has ruled in the past that states can’t add requirements for elected Federal office candidates that aren’t already in the U.S. Constitution ...
