A recent thread that went on for days and days.
A little tense at times, but it got to over 1000 posts.
But whatever finally happened, rather than zap some posts,
zot some offenders, and lock the thread... Poof.
A lot of people who put in a lot of effort into their communications there, lost it all.
I believe Humblegunner lost posts there too.
Yes, but my posts are cheap plastic.
I pick them up by the case from the dollar store.
I am aware of several examples.

I posted an article about some celebrity in the #metoo frenzy and it got pulled with no explanation. The next day, someone else posted the same article from the same source, and it went on to have hundreds of comments.
Moderation is capricious.
Dang! Which subject was the post about? Maybe someone downloaded it before the zotting...
Could it have been one of those q trollbait magnets? I did pull a couple of those recently. Trolls exist on both sides of that argument and I’d rather not have their trollwars on our forum. Thanks.
