Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Situational outrage, by Mitt Romney. – Mitt Romney still thinks he can become president. That fact was obvious throughout his 2018 senatorial campaign, and it is obvious in ever public statement he’s made since buying that Utah senate seat. He didn’t come to the senate to represent the interests of the people of Utah; he came there for pure self-aggrandizement purposes. He’s there solely to undermine President Donald Trump, and see if he can somehow work with Bill Kristol and the few dozen remaining #NeverTrump fake Republicans to weasel his way into the 2020 GOP presidential nomination.
Thus, Romney’s statement about the Mueller report issued yesterday comes as no surprise at all.

Tucker had it dead on about the DC cretins. “Remember that kid in school who always had his hair perfectly parted? Who was always raising his hand in the front row shouting , “Me, me, me, teacher, pick me!”? Well those are the “smart” people who come to DC to run things.”
Dead on about Mitt Romney, as well. Like the “Tiger Moms” or the “Jr Fashion Show” moms, or the phony college application moms. Their desires are just accessories to signal a lifestyle, like a Rolex or a Ferrari. Mitt has to become president because that is the only accessory he lacks. The only goal he hasn’t finally gotten the “recognition from teacher” he craves. Why would he want to change things when the way things are has been very good to him?
One of my proudest moments was not voting for this failure.
We knew he was a snake when we took him in.
I’d propose an even up trade for Joe Manchin.

I believe the same divine forces that gave us DJT also may have prevented Mittens from achieving that which he so craves.

Had we had four years of Mitt stinkin’ Romney, we would have had zero years of Trump and how ever many years of Hellary Clinton.

I said in his first salvo at Trump after he started his job as Senator, that he was running for the GOP POTUS nomination in 2020.
What would that be, and what is it he knows is the only thing it would do? Would he beat Trump in the primaries? No. Does he understand that yes. So what would his campaign in the primaries do? It would attempt to undermine Trump, trying to weaken Trump in the general election. And Mr Romney knows this. His campaign will have only one hope and ambition and it is not the presidency. It is to undermine Trump.
Sorry though, I just loathe the GOP and almost every one in it, but especially Mitt MF’ing R0mney.

I’ll never understand how or why the people of Utah elected this pretender to the United States Senate. Born in Michigan (Daddy was governor of Michigan), moved to Massachusetts, where he was governor, and eventually gets elected to the Senate from Utah. The only thing he has in common with the people of Utah - most of them, at least - is that he’s a Mormon. In other words, he’s a male, Mormon version of Hillary Clinton and every bit as vile and despicable as her.
