If you expected the denizens of our fake national news media to accept the truth of the Mueller Report after its release today and move on to focusing on real news, well, think again. If you expected fake reporters who have gotten literally everything about this entire fiasco wrong for two solid years to do a mea culpa and promise to do better going forward, well, sorry.

If you expected the talking heads at CNN and MSNBC to engage in a little sober on-air introspection and begin the process of analyzing how it was that their repeated cocksure pronouncements that “Mueller has got the goods” and the always-hand “this is the beginning of the end for Donald Trump” could have been so utterly wrong for so damn long, well, not gonna happen.

Instead of any of those things that any honest, thoughtful person would do in such a situation, we got exactly what we should have all expected we would get from these despicable hacks, which was a full-blown in-air meltdown of epic proportions. The hysteria still-ongoing at CNN and MSNBC should be recorded for posterity and presented in every journalism school in America as the starkest examples of what does not amount to responsible, sober journalism in any way, shape or form.
