That sounds like a Hedge Fund.

Sounds like a Boyes anti-tank rifle, or that Swedish one from pre-WWII!

Is there a practical purpose for this rifle? Or, is it just a novelty? Just curious. Btw, I respect ones right to have one. So, lets not go down that path.

I wonder, what was the reason they didn’t go a full inch in diameter?

Im not an expert but I doubt it is very accurate at longer ranges.
The actual bullet looks short compared to diameter. I would think it gets unstable quickly.
Experts out there, please discuss!

Well, if you are hunting in Africa and come across 5 Cape buffalo lined up end to end and are only allowed one shot, you will wish you had one.

Do you like shooting big cartridges that has a huge kick? ehhhh, No.

As someone who hunts whitetail with a .375 H&H, 458 Win Mag and a .460 Weatherby, I would love to try this thing!
It might be fun to try it on groundhogs!

The line between “gun” and “cannon” is pretty blurred here :)

No I would not.
My shoulders, after several Operations, would not reward with me pleasure for the experience

A gun William Conrad should have had.
Assuming he could have lugged it.

I don’t think I’d like shooting this at all.
My 12 Gauge gives me bruises.
Besides I never took up hunting trucks.
