But after a series of disappointing relationships

Where are you meeting men? At a Bar?

At a Dating Service?
Online?
At the Office?

None of these is good

What are your hobbies?

Dogs - then go to Dog Parks, Dog Shows
Bowling - then Bowling Tournaments
Politics - then Rallies

Don't have a hobby men would meet at? Get One

You get the idea - meet men who match your hobbies and goals

Remember this Jingle to STAY OUT OF Poverty (97%) and Trouble (STDs, Murder):

First comes Love (holding hands, few kisses)
Then comes Marriage (with Parental Blessings)
Then comes the Baby and the Baby Carriage (sex)

Violate this and you have a 3% chance at success.

But its fake. They fake interest in the hobbies, get a guy, then demand he stop his hobbies they never were truly interested.

To know where to look for a marriage partner, you need to know what kind of person you want. For example, if you want to meet a person who likes to bowl, you would go to a bowling alley; whereas if you want to meet a person who is rich, sensitive, attractive, and intelligent, you would not. -- Dave Barry's Guide To Marriage And/Or Sex
