That’s an impressive shot. Given the inclination of the barrel in order to make it... At what point (barrel angle and/or range to impact) do we start considering this indirect fire from very small artillery???

Can he drain a 40’ down hill double break against the grain putt to halve the hole in a 100$ Nassau?

At what point (barrel angle and/or range to impact) do we start considering this indirect fire from very small artillery??? I believe that this is only fair as the Germans turned their artillery into direct fire.

It seems to me that if you were to computer control several barrels using GPS that you could blanket a small area at quite a distance just like artillery.
I believe GPS is jammed at key gov locations to make it harder to calculate an exact location....this is wise. One would have to get several readings far away from the target and use trigonometry to calculate the location....most miscreants can’t utilize trig :-)

This doesn't add up. Am I missing something?
To give you an idea of just how far 6,000 yards is, with a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second, that round took 17 seconds to reach the target!

As long as you can see your target, its direct fire.
