To: Osage Orange; headstamp 2

Bought a ‘70s vintage Marlin 336 many years ago, as a present for my sonny boy. He loves “Cowboy guns”, all his life.

It’s chambered in .30-30, a nice caliber; I think that caliber is the record holder for most North American ruminants taken...

I love lever guns too. Had a Marlin 1895G lever action in .45-70 years ago, but did the dumbass thing and sold it. Fun to shoot, but beat the Hell out of the shoulder.

It's either that or the .22.....Ha!!
