In spite of the recent rise of dating apps, more young people than ever remain single, according to data released by the General Social Survey from researchers at the University of Chicago.

I am always hearing about finding dirtbags on line. Well, I don’t shop online for stuff I’d pay retail for either.
Its not a great story for her. Someone needed to tell her she didnt need to marry anyone. It worse being tied to someone you cant get away from than being alone.

You will never be first in the relationship. The reason why families worked is that mom and dad were first, they were the center of the family, and the kids were rightfully not first, they were not first but expansions of the family pair. You will never have the proper setup with a single mom. You wil come second or possibly third behind pets or her mom or sister...
And you then get to help fund and raise a kid that isnt yours that will most likely resent you and probably give you trouble and youre not her parent so youre screwed there.
It goes well beyond Free Republic, it’s a semi-organized movement called MGTOW, Men Going Their Own Way. It’s a reaction to terrible US family law and 3rd wave feminism.
None of the above is a healthy thing, societally.

I am not the most experienced observer, but it seems to me that men in their 20’s and men in their 50’s are not that much different in their thinking. The older ones are, however, much better at hiding it. Seriously, they’re far more polite and considerate, and they aren’t afraid to flirt. I spend a lot of time around college students and it’s not uncommon for them to ask what sort of remarks might offend a woman, as if they have a checklist they need to complete before they can get to actual conversation. My impression: “Robot.” The older fellow just grins and says “hi there, sugar!” My impression: “Normal.”
The problem is, I don’t want to be a widow with young kids when I’m 35.
Doesnt change what you’d be going into.

It's a social thing. Men get along by mastering themselves, and the world around them. When men get together, they quickly sort themselves into a pecking order, which is fairly static.
Women's pecking order is fluid, and depends on who is in whose clique this week, who is married, engaged, etc.
A woman who thinks your dating market value is far below hers, has to object loudly -- so the other women in the office can see, and hear for themselves that she considers you beneath her consideration: if she didn't, *her* status would fall.

Married over 30 years, but in offices with a lot of women. They think I'm wallpaper since I'm married and older: so they talk without realizing I'm more than a piece of furniture.
I'm one of them. Married for 30 years. Divorced, she got 50% and I did all the work for it. Paying for her worthless ass until the day I die becuse she refuses to take care of herself financially and get a job..
No man in his right mind would EVER marry a woman in this country with divorce laws the way they are. I don't care how good of a woman she is. It's just not worth it.

Sure its healthy. there are going to be a very small subset of men whocdont get screwed by the system.
But by its very nature the men themselves decide what going their own way is, as an idividual. They dont all make the same identical choices.
But they see the system thats stacked against thme for what it is, and see women for what they are now, and they dont want to get screwed over.
Its never going to be a large group anyway so all the women dont have to worry because the system trains men to be pussy chasers and white knights and most are more than happy to live this way.
You know I am correct. this gynosociety applauds women for saying they dont need or want a man in their life, yet demeans and shames a man for the same view about wo,en. because the system needs mens resources to give to women either thru marriage or government confiscation.
Even europe, most countries in europe, for crying out loud, have much fairer and equitable divorce laws than america.
its because these countries have never decided to make a growth industry out of the divorces of their citizens.
in america its a 50-60 billion dollar a year industry for divorce courts and attorneys and ‘court appointed expetts’ you cant refuse to have assigned and pay for.
