My take is that any explanation other than the most obvious, simple and commonly accepted one requires incontrovertible proof. I have no faith in anything and believe nothing without proof that would convict in a court of law and pass peer-reviewed science.

The biggest reason the government would have to keep aliens secret is the fact they can’t even protect people from them. Would the people trust them for spending trillions of foreign wars and other government programs if we knew the aliens could snuff us out on a whim next Thursday to make room for a new hyperspace bypass?
[ The worst was a 9-11 truther. He grabbed everybody’s ear at work to espouse his theory. Of course he claimed to be a military demolitions genius and knew several people who knew several people that knew a CIA agent...you get the picture.
Turns out his “demolition expert” status was bogus as was his military service. Three weeks in boot camp then a discharge for the good of the service apparently made him an expert.
He eventually got fired from our company because he spent all his time talking conspiracy and none of it doing his job. ]
The BIGGEST 9/11 conspiracies:
1. Why the field agents that warned their seniors about the hijackers never got to take their bosses jobs.

I agree. Certainly there are conspiracy theories that even I, as a tinfoiler, don’t agree with.

Funny that Popular Mechanics and NIST now report (as of 2017) for the first time in steel beam high rise building history, an office furniture fire caused a 47 story building to free fall collapse (demolition style) right into its own footprint.
This “recent” NIST WTC 7 finding couldn’t possibly be due to the 9-11 victims court case refuting 9-11 Commission findings?
Also incredible that BBC Live broadcast announcement that WTC 7 fell 20 mins before it actually did...
BTW, didn’t building owner, Larry Silverstein, state during an interview, he told Incident Command to “pull” the building?.
You do know that even President Trump has expressed doubt that airliners solely brought down the Twin Towers as reported by the 9-11 Commission report.
President Trump has stated in previous interviews that he believes bombs were set off to cause the buildings to collapse:

So, to support the conspiracy theory position, we have to accept the notion that explosives were pre-set within those buildings and lo and behold the lucky break of two 747 aircraft piloted by al-Qaida terrorists just happened to give them the cover to bring the whose mass down through demolition explosives. Oh, and the fire that engulfed 10 stories of Building 7 gave them enough cover to drop that one as well.
So, tell me.. who are the culprits in this massive conspiracy and why did they do it?
