Note to Nike: You Had One Job
Zion Williamsons shoe blowout on Wednesday night is the most high-profile incident of shoe failure ever. Here you had the likely No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, playing in the biggest game of his college career, in a contest hyped for weeks as being the must-watch game of the college basketball season then, just 33 seconds into the game
as Williamson drove the ball into the teeth of the Tar Heel defense, his left foot busted out of his shoe and he went down clutching his right knee. SBNation
Adding injury to insult, Williamson suffered a right knee sprain and had to leave the game.
Nice shell, questionable integrity
In the final analysis ability and performance are all that matter. Everything else is just hype and doesnt count when the rubber hits the road.
Inferior quality will ultimately fail; superior performance Trumps® value signaling every time.
Believe in something. Even if it means lying about everything.
Note to Jussie: youre not doing it right.

To Nike, kneeling is more important than performance.

nike is overrated IMO. Bought a pair to jog in once back in the 90s and could barely run in ‘em. Changed to New Balance and covered my desired distance with no problem. I’m sure it was more me but that was the last pair I ever bought...and that pair got relegated to being worn while doing yard work.

Chinese shoes are Chinese shoes, even if they have a fancy swoosh on them.
