If ABC news reported it, that McCabe, while still employed by the FBI, ordered an investigation into JEFF SESSIONS as a Russian agent, why the hell does it matter that the article is dated, now that McCabe is a loose cannon on all the talk shows?

This is why Sessions is such a disappointment.

The very people smearing him in the press were the ones telling him, to avoid any hint of impropriety, he needed to recuse himself... and he bought it. Gutless. He knew he was innocent, he knew the smears were ridiculous, and had he two brain cells he’d have seen right through these people, and this whole story would have come to a quick end two years ago.

It’s an old article but it does remind us why Jeff Sessions was so timid and afraid of the established Deep State.

I don’t recall reading this at the time. It would be interesting to know if this was fake news or actually happened. McCabe could have planted the story with ABC to insinuate that his firing was linked to the investigation of Sessions i.e., obstruction of justice.
