Trump is as Solid and American as Narragansett's Rocky Coastline (graphic)

Another day to celebrate a President who loves America, fights for We the People, and is as smart a sea captain as they come!

Seems like more than a few FReepers love the landscape art from the Hudson River School painters.  Here's another one.  Enjoy... and contemplate how lucky we are to have this fine, conscientious and wise man WORKING FOR US!

MAGA, my FRiends.

William Stanley Hazeltine (1835 — 1900) was an American painter associated with tbhe Hudson River School, a mid-19th century art movement of landscape painters influenced by Romanticism.

Born in Philadelphia, he studied at the University of Pennsylvania and then Harvard, receiving a degree in 1854.  Soon after, he sailed to Europe, first joining a colony of American painters studying in Dusseldorf, then traveling into Switzerland and Italy.  In late 1857 he settled in Rome, and made numerous excursions to draw landscapes around Rome and on Capri.

Returning to America in 1858, Haseltine joined several American landscape painters in New York City including Frederic Church and Albert Bierstadt.  Though many of his paintings from this time derived from his European sketches, Haseltine also began to paint the oceanside of New England.

Rocks at Narragansett are among several paintings Hazeltine painted of the New England seashore.  He favoring the coasts of: Narragansett, Rhode Island:, Nahant, Mass.; and Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Solid as a rock, Donald J. Trump. Be proud. America’s getting a wall and We the People are winning.

The headline said “GRAPHIC!”, so naturally, I zoomed in to see what was going on. It means “a graphic representation”, iow, a photograph. Oh, yeah, that’s what I thought! (NOT!)

Agree, “solid as a rock”.

Although POTUS TRUMP spoke about dogs recently and
the fact that he felt he’d never own one,
the dog accompanying him fits nicely. The color of
the animal complements the hair; the size of the animal
is certainly as big as life. No squeaky pipsqueaks for our POTUS.

Sorry to confuse. Yes it’s a photograph of an oil painting with some graphic work to transform it into something a big different.

About three hours of work: a search for appropriate background, merging a windbreaker shot of Trump when he visited Houston with a separate headshot. Plus finding a Golden Retriever. Then I needed to copy and paste a portion from the leftside of the painting as a backdrop for Trump — and doctor that up a bit to make it look like a part of the original painting.

Thanks VK! I thought so, too. No chihuahuas! Also my sister works at the marina on Martha’s Vineyard and had a Golden Retriever for many years who loved to jump into water and was a true mariner’s friend.

VK, finding the right face for the image was not easy. Trump is a tough leader with a tremendous personality. I wanted to convey a positive tone because that’s what Trump is all about — a tremendous cheerleader for our country, like Reagan was.

A storm is brewing in the seascape, but Trump is going sail us through and navigate through the dangers shoals.

I thought maybe “Narragansett” was the last name of some Lady he used to know. I know. It makes no sense. It was a split second assumption.

It used to be a cliche of politics that every speech began with,

“From the sunny shores of California to the rock strewn coast of Maine!”

PDJT as a huge rock of resistance to the Deep State works for this Trump voter.

I called him Donald “The Doberman” Trump during the campaign, because, like a Dobe, he is fast, agile, fearless, relentless and attacks by rushing in, biting hard, jumping back out of range and then repeating that until the enemy is down for good.

If he got one, the libs would lose their minds.

If color coordination is a thing, get him a T-Positive Dobe.
They’re sort of a golden/albino with piercing blue eyes.

:)

Dobermans are fierce and deadly. Color shouldn’t matter.
My comment on the color was just an observation on the coincidence.

If the family were to decide to invite a
dog into their home, one would hope it would be much more than a publicity stunt or color coordination exercise. Dogs
can easily become a beloved family member. On the positive, our President would have at least one true friend in DC (h/t President Truman).

He couldn’t ask for a more loyal dog than a Dobe.
