The character and legacy of wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill is once again under assault by the radical left. Why are they going after him? What about other beloved heroes from history? Should our civilization even have founding heroes and myths?

If “fighting” means gleefully taking it in the ass from the Stalinist rodent party, then yes.
Here is my review of a biography of Harry Byrd, which I posted on the internet 20 years ago:
Harry Sr. was succeeded by his son, Harry Byrd, Jr. who I believe liked my review better--a lot better--than the book reviewed.
On the subject of Churchll? He was certainly a great man, but basically a patriotic "Liberal," as was Joseph Chamberlain in the pre-World War I era.
