I could be totally wrong, but I don't think that a majority or even a plurality of Americans would back someone who gives his speeches half in Spanish. Its not that I have anything against being bilingual. I just don't think the majority of Americans like being divided by language/culture. Pandering to the Spanish speaking only constituency is just not going to get enough support. JMO.
Not for nothing but Julian Castro has openly admitted that he doesn’t speak Spanish. He grew up in TX and apparently never spoke the language at home. Granted, his Mexican heritage is clear as day.
Like all the democrat potentials except Biden, he is an empty suit, just like the Messiah in 2008. When it comes down to deciding, the democrats will go all style over substance and pick the most appealing leftist out there.
