Its no big deal that her colleague, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) called President Donald Trump a mother-******, House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told an MSNBC town hall on Friday.
Thursday, on her first day on the job, Rep. Tlaib declared, Were gonna go in and impeach the mother******! Asked to comment on the vulgar remark, Pelosi invoked freedom of speech and said people shouldnt make a big deal of it:
Thats freedom of speech on an individual member. As I said, generationally, that would not be language that I would use. But, nonetheless, I dont think we should make a big deal of it. I really dont. I really dont. [ ]Speaker Pelosi said she has no intention of trying to limit the vulgarity of her party.

It’s time to take out the trash . . .out of congress.
Pelosi twisted her reasoning into a pretzel to justify Rashida’s vulgarity. And that is not just “the way people talk.” Maybe in HER crowd. And why is this “free speech” when Rashida says it but hate speech if a conservative were to say it. It’s so frustrating.
Wait, I thought crude language was BAD. And that civility was going to return when they won something.
Look its a female democrat.
She’s in two demographics that think they never do anything wrong, and rationalize away anything they do that they’d crucify anyone else for doing.
If Occasional Cortex or this gal would have said the same thing about Pelousy with that language, do we really think Nanzi would be this disinterested and undisturbed?
This from the snowflakes that are triggered by someone wearing a red hat. It would be nice if we had any republicans in congress with the kind of balls nasty nancy has.
If someone had even thought that too loudly about bammy the ‘rats would have demanded that person have “racist” branded into their forehead. Effing hypocrites, every single useless one of them.
Well, it’s going to lower their whole fan base. This can’t keep up forever.
Nah, they just claimed that.
At any rate, with two political groups each of which is bent on being meaner than the other, we will see a race towards the abyss.
The only real answer is God.
Pelosi doesn’t object to the “ MF” language because people who knew who she really was, have been calling that for decades, including some in Baltimore’s Little Italy, even when she left for California where she’s known as “Me First”.
The bar for acceptable language and conduct is lowered considerably for Democrats, and particularly for those belonging to a protected class.
And you want to be my latex salesman.
Pelosi has been faithful in taking her daily dumb pills because she is now as dumb as dirt.
If she can’t see this kind of rhetoric leads to violence and uncivil discourse in general she has no business being a congressman. She should retire right now. This minute and let the grownups handle the government.
She can do no wrong and she's untouchable by the New Socialist DemonRat Party and the MSM.
Ask the Israelis: this is what you get when you give them a little bit of power.
It's gonna be a long two years.
What ever happened to ‘respect for the office of President’ ?
Tlaib’s already outdone Hanin Zoabi, her counterpart over in the Knesset.
dems subservient to enemy islam.
Yeah ... but I remember Robert Byrd lecturing us about the decorum of the Senate but I am sure he would want his high standards applied to the House as well.
"So you're saying you AGREE with what Ms. Tlaib said?"
Come on, Nancy - you're excusing, defending what she said. There's to be no repercussions whatsoever, no condemnation, no apology? That must mean you agree, right?
How about the party you're both a member of? Does her remark honestly reflect its views?
Come on, reporters - you know you'd ask a Republican these questions. You wouldn't meekly accept this non-apology...
