This brand new video from Atlanta, Georgia, shows a store employee assaulting a customer for wearing a pro-Trump shirt. The assault occurs at 0:36

OK...first off, I’m not a lawyer.
But to clear the air, there is a distinction between assault and battery. Some states just use “assault” as the catch-all for the crime. In a legal sense, the “assault” is the verbal/non-verbal threat made by one person against the other. The physical action of the treat is considered “battery”.
Most statutes use the term “assault” for both acts. So in the truest sense if the person were to make threats against another, picks up a baseball bat, but does not hit the other person. He would be “technically” guilty of assault, but not battery.
In most cases he could be charged with “Attempted Assault”.
“That was the king of TDS meltdowns! LOL!”
The customer trolled the clerk to perfection when he said “God bless America capitalism wins again” and “Do my bidding”.
You have a wife or GF at home waiting for her happy juice, you take a stand, right or wrong. Especially against a triggered twerp who probably isn't the owner.
Good on you for identifying the store employee as a fool. do you also find the law foolish that allows certain people to be discriminated against while protecting others from that same discrimination?
When are you going to apologize?
========================================================
That is simply a matter of trust on behalf of the owner. The employee can be fired if he makes a wrong choice. More to the point the owner may be sued for the stupidity of the employee. MAGA has lost not a thing for standing up to the SJW.
Sounds as if you missed the whole public accommodation thing arising from the civil rights era. That store is a public accommodation. Mr. Super-Anitfa, unhinged vape shop clerk by day, had no right to refuse service or to attempt to bar him from the store. He had done nothing illegal. He wore a political tee shirt and hat. Thats it.
You can't seriously be siding with this unhinged profane infant in a vaguely adult body, can you?
Need I guess
The video recording is really amazing. What a nutjob. He'll never work anywhere where this video is shown. He's screaming and basically incoherent.
Buckhead and northern metro Atlanta is nice
Lol
You just busted yourself as not having watched the video if you think the Trump guy was more abusive
Come on
Be an exceptional freeper
Read the article
No its worse hes a lawyer he just said so.
I couldnt resist
Bramps I own a lot of retail business and your point is well taken
Telling folks to leave can be a bit stickier than you are suggesting
Cops have to come and hear it out and look it up and usually ask someone to leave for peace sake
I actually beat up someone who attacked me at one of my warehouses 19 years ago and even then the cops had to think hard whether I could make him leave
And he jumped me ...on tape
Foolish boy...
Im six five and 235
He thought at mid 40s Id lost my zeal for such arts
sorry there are a lot of asumptions that are made because the video started after the guy was asked to leave.....I worked retail and you are a prisoner to the behavior of you custumer. all I saw was that guy do everything he could to ge a reaction out of the clerk. I am sure the clerk did not like the president but that man is the provaucutear in the video. the trick he did was to start being abusive before the camera was turned on. if you look at the body language the guy taking the picture was getting his rocks off by what was going on.
Did I say the employee had a right to assault him?
Gd crypto-liberals polluting this forum with stupidity.

It’s a sad day when alleged conservatives get so pissed off when you tell them the truth.
Fwiw, I’m not siding with the lunatic employee at all from a political standpoint.. He’s a twisted child but at the end of the day he was within his rights to tell the guy to leave. That’s the only point I was making. And it’s a very sad day when you can’t state a fact on Free Republic without being attacked. I earlier noted that it would be completely within the employer’s rights to fire the guy. But that does not mean that the guy representing the store can’t ask a customer to leave for any reason except if he’s in a protected class. I did not say I agree with the laws I was just pointing it out. I just didn’t realize how many sensitive lemmings would be reading this thread.
When are you going to apologize?
What would I be apologizing for? I said earlier that the employer would be completely within his rights to fire the guy. I would have fired the guy. That is completely irrelevant to my first point that the employee was within his rights to tell the guy to leave. I will say I’m sorry for triggering you.
