If something changes, and it gets authorized, I will happily tithe to the effort.
Mathematically, it would be possible (though unprecedented) to raise enough private donations to make some real difference (billions). But it is only feasible with Congressional authorization.
I am not missing the point of the political statement.
I am not into virtue signaling, and want to warn those who might be misled that this is a real effort to build actual wall.
That is how it is promoted.

Where are all the “deep pocket” Conservatives in this focused, real fund raising campaign. With tons of millionaires in the USA and many companies loaded with cash they give away to useless politicians....these folks should be instant significant contributors to this absolute necessary, clearly defined cause to secure nation security and safety.
