Does the USA want to be the Policeman of the Middle East, getting NOTHING but spending precious lives and trillions of dollars protecting others who, in almost all cases, do not appreciate what we are doing? Do we want to be there forever? Time for others to finally fight..... Getting out of Syria was no surprise. I’ve been campaigning on it for years, and six months ago, when I very publicly wanted to do it, I agreed to stay longer. Russia, Iran, Syria & others are the local enemy of ISIS. We were doing there work. Time to come home & rebuild. #MAGA

ABC News:

House Speaker Paul Ryan emerged from a last-minute White House meeting Thursday between President Donald Trump and House Republicans to say that the president told them he will refuse to sign a stopgap funding bill as it’s currently written — a measure that would avert a shutdown before a Friday midnight deadline.

Ryan told reporters that he and other GOP leaders were going back inside to try to add more on border security to the legislation.

Trump had called the meeting on short notice amid criticism that he was “softening” on a key campaign promise.

I have a hard time believing he was really going to Cave after saying he would be proud to have a shut down.

I think that’s all part of the strategy, using surprise and something unexpected to get people to act. Maybe it will work with the Congress?

Esp when I am on my phone I only get 20 posts per page and must resign in every page (PITB).. so I do miss things. Im on my notebook now. Have to leave shortly to go feed feral kitties, check mail & house.

It has been so good to just be prone(and heating pad on back) and do some computer things so far today.

Had some of my left over boca sloppy joes. On everything buns with fresh mozzarella. Yummy (to me). Lucy had ground beef and brown rice. Had made up a batch a week ago & give her some each day. This just has the brown rice, beef and marinara sauce.

when I come back Ill plan on joining everyone here a few hours for happy hour and keyword addition. I have a few up my sleeve

Oh Rusty it is so good you are strong with financial knowledge. I am not a lightweight but never liked it. When I had my own real estate business I hired someone to do the books and office things. I was good in sales.. not spinning my wheels over ledgers.

Rush Limbaugh was about as emphatic about it as I have ever heard him be.

Tons of emails, phone calls, faxes went to everyone in Washington.

The go fund me wall is up to $5 million!

None of this would’ve happened if Trump had just continued as usual, and waited for Congress to send him something that actually protects the country.

It could have been a brilliant move :-)
