Without the Washington Post hype, Carlson, in reality, is just another talking head whose fame has gone straight to his wobbly head. And not a very impressive one at that
Two years on, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson has jumped aboard the full-to-the-gunwales Anti-Trump boat.
The news of Carlsons having jumped aboard the louder than any protest Anti-Trump boat surfaced one day after the mainstream and social media used the funeral of President George H.W. Bush to gang up on the president the media live to hate.
I disagree with this article.
Carlson fully supports trump on border and immigration, strongly supports free speech on twitter and facebook, deplores google supporting China and not the USA.
I’ve not seen never-trumpism from him. Carlson is issue based.
Bingo. Tucker hopes a little anti Trump press will call off the antifa dogs. A victory for left wing intimidation. A step closer to violent confrontations erupting.
I always liked him with two caveats: First, I hate it when he and the guest talk over each other. Second, that method actor lady (the cute one) that he would keep having on as a liberal loon on various subjects. It was fake, as far as I was concerned, so I couldn’t take it seriously. I only watched her on one and a half youtube videos. If they are not sincere in their comments, I’m not interested.
I did not know he went anti-trump.
I will say this: I’ve felt for a while that eventually trump will lose popularity as the economy, after a nice jump start, fizzles. I compare it today to an old incandescent light bulb that gets a good impact and suddenly goes a LOT brighter before it quickly burns out. That is how I see our economy. But I’m not blaming trump. I said before his election that our financial situation is beyond a human solution. The only thing he really can do to prevent collapse is to borrow like crazy. The reason is simple: What it actually needs is massive austerity, and though that would fix it, it would take over a generation to do it, and anyone proposing it will either lose the next election or be run out of office before that.
The alternative - make it look good until it completely collapses hard, is far more accute and painful, but the only other option left. That is, the only solution is to ignore it until reality destroys it all, with us powerless to change it. I thought this would have already happened, but they are very good at kicking the can down the road. Eventually you come to the end of the road, though.

Tucker also understands and vocally calls out the deep state plot against Trump.
To quote a nightly Tucker quote "RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA"
I don’t have tv (since 1997). The only fox I see is in youtube videos.
And, two of Trump's most important promises he's kept -- creating jobs and growing the economy and putting conservative judges onto courts.
Wish I’d bookmarked the article someone posted here within the last year predicting this. The prediction was based on the extremist-left family that Carlson comes from. He’s apparently a bright and talented guy who has been faking it for ratings.
Does no one remember when Bill O’Reilly endorsed John Kerry over George W.?
I haven’t watched foxnews since they decided to support Acosta’s right to accost members of the white house staff, but I never had a major problem with Carlson’s positions most of the time. It was his style I didn’t have much appreciation for. He always acted like he was catching his guests in these huge gotcha’s, but he never came off nearly as clever as he thought he did.
Well, I’m done.
I guess that leaves Hannity on FNC... and that’s not saying much because every show he does is a word-for-word copy of every other show he does.
I never thought Tucker was stupid - but did he think denigrating our President was going to go over well among his audience?
And, yeah, ego is at the heart of it - and he never came off as an egotist, either - but to complain that Trump hasn’t done (or doesn’t have the ability to do) X, Y or Z implies that he, Tucker Carlson knows the answers to those problems, whereas the stupid orangeman doesn’t.
Idiot.
.
Tucker just kissed-off his future.
.
People here overreacting as usual. Not a whole bunch in the article that says anything about him being anti-Trump.
I cut my cable so I don't see the Tucker TV show.
One month ago, his family was threatened.
He got the message, loud and clear.
They were threatening me and my family: Tucker Carlsons home targeted by protesters
I’m done with Tucker. That leaves me with only one show on FNC that’s worth watching. That show is Hannity and only because he has some decent guests.
I can watch The Five, as I now prefer humor.
You’re probably right. That’s the a cowards way out.
Pressure from the management?
“I don’t think the Congress is on his side.”
Gee, Tucker, nothing gets past you, does it?
A Horses Head in his bed, after his wife and home were under attack from ANTIFA?
Tucker has been a wash on Trump, but never an azz hat against him. Something bad may be up?
Anyway, I no longer record his hour following this absurd squawking of his.
If Tucker said this what he is expressing is frustration that the main goals have not been reached.
The author is probably twisting some reservations he had.
Like you said he is issue based.
The only other commentators in his league on the central issue of immigration are Lou Dobbs and Laura Ingraham.
And all three of them are light years better then what we have heard out of the media for the last 20 years.
