I read the book after a recommendation on FR. It’s public domain in case anyone is interested. It’s kind of a hard read but I don’t think it could be closer to what is actually happening at the border (and already has happened in Europe). Representations of all the real current players are depicted in the book.

I read it when it was first published. I remember how all the European liberals howled about how racist it was and how it could never happen.
