As I writing there is less than 7 minutes left in Michigan v. The Ohio State University. THE Ohio State University has put 55 points, incl 7 off a blocked punt, on supposedly the best defense in the nation. Dwayne Haskins has obliterated the Michigan secondary. Michigan's defense is a fraud, Michigan is a fraud, and Harbaugh is a fraud. Harbaugh is Meyer's rhymes with witch. This has to be the most bitter Michigan loss in recent history. Everything was in place to complete the so called Revenge Tour, beat Northwestern, and go to the playoffs. It all came to a crashing end in Columbus.

In 2014 OSU beat Alabama and Oregon to win the National Championship. Are you talking about that pratfall?
You seem to forget that Ohio State beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl in 2015 - then went on to beat the Oregon Ducks to win the National Championship. Players come and go - so, that makes a difference. If you didn’t think today’s game was excising, then I don’t know what to tell you.
What’s with the continued and obnoxious emphasis on “The” for you buckeyes fans and players? Is there another Ohio State University that we might get you confused with? You’d think you’d want to emphasize, oh, I don’t know, Ohio or Ohio State? But “The”?
My heart goes out to all conscripted Michigan fans; the non-conscripted ones should react to an Ohio State drubbing without polluting FR with their allegations of fraud.
As an OSU grad (3/89) there was no emphasis on the “The”. It sort of started from those NFL player intros on MNF. We just called it OSU even though Oregon and Oklahoma also have their own OSU’s. I think maybe it evolved from the Hurricanes players saying they were from “The U”... but idk. Definitely wasn’t always a thing. UofM is getting better but Meyer is in their heads.
The football team that plays for the college that I used to go to is better than the football team from the college that you used to go to.

Could we borrow the Ohio State football team to play in place of the AZ Cardinals this weekend? We could use a victory.

OSU just laid an old-fashioned whupping on the Wolverines today. So much for Michigan being in the playoff. Now if someone can explain how OSU lost to Purdue and needed overtime to beat Maryland (whom, BTW, gave the Buckeyes a much tougher game than Michigan).
No, I’m taking a jaundiced 50 year overview. Obviously, Ohio State and Michigan don’t blow it EVERY year, no matter how hard they may try. But they collapse in big games more regularly than any other of the reputed top programs. And they often find ways to look bad doing it.

I think Michigan watched how sloppy OSU has played against some other teams and took them for granted - as well as the fact that everyone predicted a M win. Like Woddy Hayes used to say - on any given Saturday,
Michigan’s collapse is more of an indictment of the Big 10(14) than anything else. I am an alum of THE, and while I am pleased with their victory today, the Buckeyes honestly would be better served by being excluded from the playoffs. State would not want any part of Bama, Clemson, or even UCF, 2014 non withstanding.
