Surgical robot....what could go wrong? Well apparently EVERYTHING.
Robot doctors, what could go wrong...go wrong...go wrong...
Time for prison.
“Robotic surgeon tries to kill mole on man’s chin by stabbing it repeatedly with a carving knife. Details at 11.”
They work perfectly in Star Wars.
I feel bad for the dead guy....
But....really....if he actually agreed to have a robot operate on his heart?
Not too smart.
Sign me up for some of that action.
Well, I guess somebody got hacked....
And they want robot driven cars on the roads?.....................
Government healthcare at its essence government employees (doctors) sip lattes while patient needlessly dies.
The problem isn’t the dead patient. The problem is the gouges cut in the expensive operating table.
Just doing what socialized medicine was designed to do but much more efficiently. They will soon have this perfected to the point the human staff will not need to be present for the elimination of worthless subjects.
...pioneer the use of a surgical robot...
Why dont they have an emergency shut down. Big red button.
At least he got the operation free.
Let me just go out on a limb: It was hacked by the Russians.
“According to reports, this first-time-use robot.”
That would be a bit of a red flag to me for sure.
Apparently even Indian doctors are too expensive now for single payer.
Using experimental robots for heart surgery seems overly ambitious.
I recommend they use this robot for transgender surgery instead.
There’s a difference between the computer controlled arms (often called robotic) that are controlled by the surgeon and an autonomous robotic machine. This sounds like the latter.
“But the dogs were OK.”
It’s hard to believe that this was tried on a human heart, and that the senior surgeons didn’t even think enough of the event to stay and watch.
Socialized medicine. Good luck suing the doctors—they work for the government.
