The New York Times, which has long been an anti-American newspaper, has now somehow found in the First Amendment a right by CNN reporter Jim Acosta to behave in the manner he did last week, by pushing aside a White House aide who was a woman as she tried to grab the mic and pass it to another reporter wanting to ask a question.
The state-controlled news outlet that pushed such "righteous" people on us as Bill and Hillary Clinton and other sexual deviants, as well as promote the #MeToo movement, decided to fire off defending Jim Acosta and his obvious attempt to stonewall a press conference and to shove the arm back of a female White House aide who merely tried to do her job.
First, consider what took place.

He assaulted a young woman who was just doing her job.
He has no right to be in there.
Do I have a right to press pass? There is no test to be journalist, anybody with a blog or facebook page can become the “press”
He can have it back when he confesses to criminally assaulting the intern, apologizes publicly to her, and signs an agreement that he will stop his biased fake news.
I am astounded at the number of people that have no idea and/or no comprehension of the Constitution~and Bill of Rights. They just yammer on, and put their total ignorance on display.
Time to get rid of the NEA and put basic civics classes back into the schools!
"...[Jim Acosta] should be escorted..."
ridiculous (but then again, its the NYSlimes)
And that hell spend his time in jail writing an expose on everything he knows about CNN.
Perfect! Another alternative is to cut out the pressers and have the reporters write out their questions and answer them when somebody gets around to it. The press may feel that they are a privileged class that can abuse the US President at will, but it is time for them to get a big dose of reality. Pres Trump can decide who he talks to and when.
Agreed, and this point should be stressed over, and over, and over again. The media has become a secondary ‘Hollywood’ for wannabe stars, and the truth has suffered greatly because of it.
Like one Freeper said b4,do like in the mil.
One guy screws up penalize the platoon, squad whatever.
Shut down the briefings and let the world know its due to CNN putting for Richard Head aka D Head
Fix that and yer all welcome back.
Also POTUS(CNN calls him Trump) is not picking on these specific talking heads because they are black its because they are stupid and have been that way for too long and allowed to spew their crap for wayyy too long
Are you talking about the right not to be assaulted by a journalist?
Yeah, here is MINE? I will represent Free Republic. Or some FR person close to D.C. can represent Free Republic and get their W.H.Press Card. right. Sounds good to me!
Hoping the nyt goes out of business. It hired a radical racist, sarah jeong.
Yep that would be fun to watch. Of course they’d have to get through security too though. Might get some people even crazier than a CNN reporter that way.
Why would there be passes if everyone has right to one?
The First amendment simply states that “CONGRESS shall make no law regarding ‘freedom of the press’...it does not grant the media “absolute” power of all things.
If Trump wants, he can move the entire press corps OUT of the White House, or, even ban an entire agency...such as CNN.
The NYT’s likes to play it loose, like an aging, old-west gunfighter trying to make it on his reputation from younger days.
The First Amendment is a right. A press pass is a privilege. Unfortunately Accoster lost that privilege!
I believe the first amendment is about not going to jail, not about showing up and being nothing but obnoxious
Acosta had no right to hang on to the White House microphone.
How ridiculous. Does he also have the right to force a press conference if the President decides that they are too adversarial and disrespectful, and discontinues them?
Got it, you mean the NYT.
