First, congratulations to the MSM in your election victory in 2018. We have a President who is bringing manufacturing back, renegotiating ridiculously unfair trade deals, cracking down on human trafficking, and rebuilding our military, yet you managed to convince the American people to vote against him in 2018. The Democrats couldn't have paid for better advertising than they got from you for free.
I have as little love for the MSM as anyone else at this forum, but facts are facts. The MSM succeeded in making the Republicans own the problems that Democrats are guilty of, or over outright false reporting.
Russia? Are rebuilding our manufacturing, infrastructure, military, and oil production what Putin wants from an American President? If you want Russian collusion, how about "I'll have more flexibility after I'm re-elected" and the Uranium deal?
Crackdown on immigration? It's a crackdown on illegal immigration.
Split families? Several times as many illegal immigrant families were split under Obama, and hundreds of thousands of families have been split as a result of the high incarceration rates in Democrat run cities across the nation.
Minorities are less safe because of Trump? Trump is inciting crimes and violence against minorities? There is no more dangerous a place for minorities than Democrat run cities.
Kavanaugh? Every accusation got full media attention as if they were already proven true, but when two of the accusers admitted they lied or changed their story, crickets.
The MSM even managed to pull a switch without anyone noticing. Remember how it was the Democrats who supposedly stood up for the American worker while the Republicans were for free trade? Now that President Trump is bringing manufacturing back and renegotiating the trade deals the Democrats used to condemn, all of a sudden the MSM is warning of the economic hardships we will suffer over these "trade wars" he has started. The fact that the economy has continued to improve is an inconvenient truth they successfully covered up.
Yes, the MSM succeeded in making our side own these issues in the eyes of the voters. We can try to console ourselves by saying the Democrats under performed in an off year, but that's like saying the doctor telling the patient he has two weeks to live is a victory because the patient thought he only had one week.
We can post until 2020 about how biased the MSM is, but true as that is it won't change anything. We managed to counter them in 2004 and 2016, but that's going to have to be a full time job if we're going to prevent the Democrats from completing their takeover in 2020.
Just my humble opinion.

Nothing of the sort was ever visited on Obama. Or pretty much any other President.
Without the Mueller conspiracy, the entire American landscape would be totally different, and better, now.
You also forgot about the fact that social media and big tech colluded in silencing all conservative voices in the last 6 months leading up to the mid terms, who’s gonna do anything about that?

I suggest it is hard to see a blue wave when you are trapped in the middle of a blue tsunami. A tsunami sort of sneaks up on you. At first, the bay drains and you say, “big deal.” Then, the water starts to come in, slow at first but here it comes. It looks like a small ripple from afar. Only when it is upon you do you begin to understand the magnitude of its destructive power. By then, it is too late.
So let us look at the blue tsunami:
They created a pump. The pump was primed with an educational system that indoctrinated generations to reflexively think, “GOP bad, GOP to blame, no matter what liberals do to me, GOP bad and to blame. My needs and emotions are all that matters. Oh and there is no God.”
They have changed the definitions of fundamental words such that anything that they disagree with is “hate” or “racist” or “Nazi” or just “evil.” And what act isn’t justified in battling against any of that?
They pumped illegals into their most populous state and, in turn, made it a pump. That pump became so uninhabitable (and more so every day) that it sends their indoctrinated masses to other non-blue states. They also use said populous state as a laboratory for what they want for the country.
Those newly arrived masses instantly forget why they moved and vote dem cause it’s “GOP BAD.” Ahh the power of indoctrination!!
They primed the tsunami further by making elections irrelevant. A permanent government was created comprising judges and a Deep State that are fathoms deeper than the deepest ocean. When they lose an election, so what!!
They bribe the “GOP BAD” that can be bribed. Hi Mitt Romney, your bribes await!! Those that won’t be are hit by. . . . The ministry of destruction/compliance/propaganda called the media. It swings into action. All it’s members are products of said indoctrination system. You comply or they ruin your life. Fake stories followed by non-refractions, even doubling down even in the face of exculpatory evidence. (Think Kavanaugh)
But despite all that careful building of the “Tsunami Pump” they suffered a setback and that was not to be tolerated. So, they have turned the tsunami pump on full to include:
-The normalization of violent mobs. Their propaganda wing is providing cover by equivalizimg the act of one or two isolated whackos or groups (completely disavowed by every GOP member) with the systematic and sponsored mobs of the radical left. Make no mistake that radical left is now mainstream democrat.
-The normalization of election fraud as an “in your face” tactic. Whereas in the past it was an election here or there, now we are seeing that it will be utilized to overturn any result, in any election regardless of the margin of victory. 10, 20, 30 whatever thousand votes are child’s play.
Heads they win, tails they win but either way they win OR ELSE!
Blue ripple or blue undertow?!?! Please. This election was a test of the newly updated tsunami pump. Said pump works.
The GOP is going to have to learn to teach the government schools' victims how its policies will directly (and emotionally) benefit them, rather than assuming they are presiding over a nation of closet Ludwig von Mises acolytes who automatically understand the positive effects of tax cuts and reduced regulation. The only reason we won anything this time was because of the Democrats' repulsive performance at the Kavanaugh hearings and Trump's personal charisma, which doesn't work on everybody.
Well, we sure as heck can't argue with that now can we..
Ayn Rand predicted this in her 1930’s book “Fountain Head”. Marshall McLuhan wrote of it in “The Medium is the Message”. Rand’s book was completely ignored, except for a movie that did not do the book justice, and McLuhan’s book was required reading in most colleges and universities. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm!!!

2018 was just a battle, but it appears it might be one of the last before victory goes to the socialists. If anyone is in doubt, just watch Broward County, the third world $hithole of the US, who now has a thugette deciding the fate of America.
If it “worked”, then why is all of the voter fraud so obvious? The non-compliance with Trump’s special commission in that respect is still quite fresh in my mind. Only the truly deluded are going to vote for more Antifa.
If any part of the media was “successful” in creating this blue ripple, Fox News has been chief. But the media had less of a role.

I'm often disheartened on this forum.
I believe many people here don't understand Democrats.
Democrats will do anything to win.
When I post an article exposing the Democrats game plan I'm often shouted down with, 'STOP POSTING LIBERAL ARTICLES WRITTEN BY LIBERALS FROM LIBERAL NEWS OUTLETS'.
If these article have a liberal bias (and which ones don't because the MSM is owned and operated by liberals) it's only because I'm trying to warn people what liberals are doing.
But like Linus and The Great Pumpkin, hearing the truth sends them into a rage of denial.
