Years ago I was standing in line at a Blockbuster to check out some videos. The woman in line next to me recognized me as a neighbor. While talking me also discovered that our children went to the same daycare and were best buddies.
The other woman’s friend came back, took one look at me and started going off on me about cutting in line and implying that I was racist. My neighbor was having none of it. She tore into her friend. At first, her friend thought that she was yelling at me, but then realized that she was yelling at her. My new friend made her apologize to me. Bet that her friend never did that again, at least not in her presence.
“Bezos Market”, that’s great! So true. It no longer sells any of the products I used to go there for, even my favorite hot bar dish is gone. I refuse to use Amazon now because he ruined Whole Foods. The next closest natural market is a good drive away but they’ll get my business now.

Well, I went to Quora and started reading the comments there.
Bailed when this one dude said you can’t deny white privilege and to ignore people that said they got what they have through hard work. Also bleating about power structures.
I have no time for people like this.

Whole Foods? Avoid it like the plague. Pretentious and overpriced. Same with Starbucks..and Trader Joe’s.
Uh, duh...I was BORN this way! Does anyone choose what race they are?
Do these people honestly think, even though they don’t know me or my past, that they can make themselves better by trying to disrespect me? And they wonder why with this type of actions they do not improve their position in the world. They apparently can’t improve. They have to bring the competition, whether it exists or not, down to their level. So who wins? The people who don’t play the game. And all they had to do was remain at the next level. And they were improved.
