Are the things that look like stamps, really stamps? Both the CNN and DeNiro “bombs” came in packages with “stamps” with no writing on them whatsoever. No “USA”, “Forever” or value. In addition, there are a series of white dots (the same size as the perforations) that cross the lowest white stripe of the flag.

Not every stamp gets cancelled. Usually the clerk tosses the letters in the sorting bin and that's it. One has to request for the postmark.

Since this bomb-a-thon started, I checked all the letters I have received recently. Not a single one is cancelled. (wonder if I can reuse the stamps..hm)

Like all things is this world today nothing is as it once was. I get stuff in the mail all the time that has obviously not been canceled. On top of that many times the postmarks put on by a machine do not even contain a date. Just part of the half-As*ed world we live in today.

They can also review videos. I don’t know what USPS surveilance camera placement is, but there ought to be plenty by now. If not that, people can come forward with videos from that area.
