FULL Title :"Media Hides Laughable Turnout For Obamas Nevada Speech While Trump/Cruz Rally Saw Thousands In Attendance"
The media has tricks it can use to make it seem like a Democrat has far more support than he or she actually does, and proof has recently surfaced to show just how true that is.
Former President Barack Obamas recent speech that attacked Republicans and the President though he never mentioned Donald Trump by name was widely covered by the media, seemed like it was a must-see/must-attend event for Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen, currently struggling against incumbent Republican Sen. Dean Heller.
By the medias account, Obama was surrounded by energized Democrats and enthusiastic voters. The bleachers behind him were packed to the brim, and the people in front were numerous.
Or were they?
According to some cell phone footage, the medias packed house was a camera trick. The house wasnt as packed as theyd have you believe. In fact, for it being a speech featuring the lefts golden boy, it seemed pretty sparse with a ton of empty seats where the medias cameras werent going to focus.
As you can see, much of the back room is empty, only dotted with reporters with cameras. The floor before Obama seems to have a few dozen people watching.
Now compare that to the bleachers behind Obama, where the medias cameras were pointing in this next clip.
But even if the camera drifts far enough off to the side, it appears we even more empty bleacher space as this next clip shows us.
This is reminiscent of the media tricks played for the Hillary Clinton campaign, where they literally had to add in walls to the back of the meager crowd she gathered to make it seem like she had more attendees than she did.
Now lets compare that to the recent Trump rally in Houston.
This footage shows Republican turnout for the Trump/Cruz rally, with large amounts of people in the streets and waiting in line to get into the Toyota Center in Houston.
People were even camped out overnight to get in the previous day.
Meanwhile, heres the crowd size inside the Toyota Center during the speech. As you can see, the building is packed to the rafters, with the exception, of course, of the privately owned luxury suites.
Its also worth noting that the Toyota Center, which seats around 18,000 wasnt the original site of the rally. Originally, it was supposed to be held at the NRG center which seats 8,000. The ticket sales surged past capacity, and so the Toyota Center was substituted.
This is even more of a clue that Republicans have a serious amount of momentum going into the midterm elections. With massive turnouts for early voting in Texas, all signs point to a Cruz victory.
How could you miss the huge crowds his fans?? Traffic jams near them?
Obama: “If, if, if, if, if, if....”
The unions must not have had time to bus in their minions.
Vegas is doing well with President Trump. Hopefully that will mean a win for He!ler. Without that he wouldn’t stand a chance.
Trump is a real American. We have not seen one in power in DC since the gipper. Bunch of globalist have been using our government to wreck chaos across the world for simple monetary gain. Well guess what you demonic clowns, heaven dont take American Express.
And just like that he can produce a sincere-looking smile.
It was at UNLV. The students probably got credit for attending.
Typical Trump overflow rally.
That’s funny because when Trump is in town you know it - traffic is insane everywhere. Obama sneaks in and out and no one knows or cares. There are worse traffic jams when a typical high school lets out for the day.
Obama also had free entertainment & this was held on the UNLV campus, where it has an overflow of students.
What a difference.
Phony rolled up sleeves shtick.
Being generous, maybe the one had 1500-2000 total including 200-300 media swampers.
Trump could draw 2000 people with a one hour notice, in McKeesport, PA.
McKeesport, PA is a beat up demonRAT shithole {sorry I worked there once}, and any Trump supporters that live there, don't have Trump signs or bumpers stickers, and would not admit it at the local gin joints.
And Trump could still get 2000 people at the Mckeesport Tigers Football Stadium {with one hour notice, and a single tweet}. It would require armed guards for the parked cars, but in W. PA we do have a load of arms.
Circus, Circus has a bigger crowd for a 3:00AM breakfast.
The only thing that would make it more cinematic is if they put up a giant screen broadcasting his speech inside the arena.
Obama is boring, especially as a rally speaker.
And he’s not POTUS anymore.
One of Trump’s gifts is to be able to characterize someone humorously in terms that people will relate to, ie see themselves.
When Obama gave a speech critical of Trump, Trump said “I tried to watch it but I fell asleep”
I recall Obama having that effect on me.
I quit being interested in what he had to say shortly after his election. In fact I recall the exact moment... I had the TV on getting ready to go to work and the news was broadcasting live from the Rose Garden reporting that Obama was about to give a speech and I thought to myself “ugh, this guy again?”. Turned out to be the press conference he gave upon learning he won the Nobel Peace Prize.
