Ambush of Kavanaugh could be final nail in public perceptions of Mueller probe.

The similarities are quite eerie, have you noticed?

Before Trump supporters had time to truly savor his victory in November 2016, there was a sudden media blitz, reporting outlandish accusations against the President elect.....He was paying prostitutes to urinate on a hotel bed in Russia, among other vulgar acts.

The election was over, but hold on just a minute, not so fast! If these allegations were true, then how on earth could Trump possibly be sworn into office?

After a circus like Senate judiciary hearing for SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, it looked like Trump's pick would sail through the confirmation vote with all 51 GOP Senators voting to confirm, and maybe a few Democrats too, despite the hysterical histrionics of the likes of Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, and Kamala Harris.

But hold on just a minute, not so fast! At the 11th hour, an accusation was made against Kavanaugh, which then morphed into multiple accusations, which attempted to paint a picture of the devout family man as a drunken gang rapist. How on earth could Kavanaugh possibly be confirmed if there was any truth to these allegations?

For almost two years, we've heard Democrats and other assorted Leftists claim that Trump should not be allowed to exert the normal powers of the Oval Office, because he's "under investigation".

And for the past two weeks, we've heard Democrats and other assorted Leftists claim that Brett Kavanaugh is not fit to serve on the Supreme Court, because he "stands accused".

When Robert Mueller first began his investigation into whether the Trump campaign illegally colluded with the Russians, most voters fell into one of three categories.

There were the Trump supporters who were convinced that the whole Russia collusion narrative was nothing more than a naked and corrupt attempt to disable Trump's Presidency. There were the Trump haters who automatically assumed that Trump was guilty. And then there was the "wait and see" crowd.

As the Mueller investigation continues to drag on endlessly, a lot of these "wait and see" people are leaning more and more towards believing that Trump was set up by his political enemies. But apparently, there are still enough of them out there, who want to see Mueller's investigation come to a close before drawing any conclusions, to make Trump weary of pulling the plug on it just yet.

But Trump's enemies never intended for Mueller's investigation to go on for so long. Their hope, from the immediate outset, was for the GOP Establishment to be frightened into putting forth an intra-party coup that would prevent Trump from being sworn into office, and replacing him with Mike Pence, or maybe some other Republican, like John Kasich. In other words, the real target of these allegations were squishy Republicans who lose their lunch at the first sign of a media offensive against them.

And by the same token, Trump's enemies were also thinking exclusively about inspiring these same Republican squishes to dump Kavanaugh, once the allegations against him were revealed.

But in both cases, Trump did not allow the many weak GOP links in the chain to deter him. He remained strong and defiant in the face of the allegations made against both him and Kavanaugh.

If the polls show a reversal of fortunes, and the GOP winds up holding the House and increasing their control of the Senate, due to disgust over the Democrats' behavior in the Kavanaugh debacle, it would logically follow that a good bit of that disgust would also translate into further skepticism about the Mueller probe.

As the saying goes, if it walks like two ducks, and quacks like two ducks, it's probably two set ups. We will find out in November just how many people are left who still want to "wait and see". Hopefully, not many.

Could be the calm before the October Surprise.

I think that one of the reasons the MSM-Democrats aren’t letting go of the Kavanaugh thing is because they’re very concerned about what’s going to come out about the deep state, the silent coup, the FISA warrants, the Steele Memo, the Hillary Clinton pay-to-play campaign, and many other things.

I’m reading Spygate, by Dan Bongino.
It’s a timeline of the Russian allegations and how Hillary, Obama, and the DNC we’re all involved with getting the ball rolling.
Today I watched a fox excerpt with Devin Nunes. He said that he hopes Trump releases the FBI files uredacted and complete.
James Baker, top lawyer in the FBI spoke with Michael Sussman, democrat lawyer was feeding info to the FBI. They did not tell the FISA judge that the democrat party was involved.
Rod Rosenstein declined to let the documents to be released but then was accused of wiretapping Trump.
I think Rosenstein flipped and Trump is keeping him close. Trust in Trump. He’s playing 4 D chess and there will be an October suprise.

I think the left has to be very careful about playing the October surprise game. It may work against a regular Republican, but not against Trump. In fact, they need to be worried about October surprise coming from him. As in the FISA declassifications. They still don’t get it. Play hardball with Trump, he plays hardball right back. He LIKES hardball.

Two setups. Both fake. They will try two more before the elections.

“They still don’t get it. Play hardball with Trump, he plays hardball right back.”

I’m wonering if he has Dem indictments in his pocket, waiting for “the right time”.
