There won’t be nearly as much automatic sympathy among the general public for Barrett’s accusers. Less likely to result in delays and a razor-thin vote, but more likely to lead to street violence by “oppressed groups.”

I love that they think the GOP is the ruthless ones, and I hope they get a ‘lot more ruthless’, although I don’t know what that would look like, attempting to destroy the reputation of the most establishment bland choir-boy we could pick for a justice seems like it was quite a stretch.
