FBI’s smoking gun: Redactions protected political embarrassment, not ‘national security
The Hill ^ | October 7, 2018 | John Soloman

To declassify or not to declassify? That is the question, when it comes to the FBI’s original evidence in the Russia collusion case.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI have tried to thwart President Trump on releasing the evidence, suggesting it will harm national security, make allies less willing to cooperate, or even leave him vulnerable to accusations that he is trying to obstruct the end of the Russia probe.

KEYWORDS: treason
The traitors are finally being forced out from under their phony 'national security' cover.

Using their official government positions, these traitors weaponized our most sensitive national security programs in our government to spy on, frame, and destroy a political candidate and later, a duly elected president. After the operation failed, they then had the chutzpah to claim their treasonous spying activity could not be disclosed to the American people because it was classified as a national security matter. There has never been a more insidious and egregious case of espionage against this country and it was performed by taxpayer-salaried civil servants.

And if they are not dealt with by the Trump Administration we are done as a country.

Yes, he has almost certainly read them. It is my impression that, as President, he can read anything unredacted.

He knows a lot of what is going on, but to take action has to be handled carefully.

EXPOSE THE COUP PLOTTERS!!!

The Coup plotters have a lot to lose, and they know it.
At least a decade of criminal behavior in the creation of the swamp, and all that the Neo-Marxist (Neo-com?) Obama could do to try to weaken and bring down this country, to the very extent of his powers (thank god our founders understood the importance of division of power in government).

Their hysteria is well known since Hillary lost, but it is not unjustified. There is a very good reason for this hysteria. There very well could be people put in jail,,, if the swamp can be drained, if Trump isn’t impeached with the new congress,... if it isn’t too late.

This may be the biggest corruption scandal in our country’s history, and i do not exaggerate.

>> There is now a concrete storyline backed by irrefutable evidence: The FBI allowed itself to take political opposition research created by one party to defeat another in an election, treated it like actionable intelligence, presented it to the court as substantiated, and then used it to justify spying on an adviser for the campaign of that party’s duly chosen nominee for president in the final days of a presidential election.

And when, nine months later, the FBI could not prove the allegation of collusion between Trump and Russia, unverified evidence was leaked to the media to try to sustain public support for a continued investigation.

That means the redaction of Footnote 43 had more to do with political embarrassment than with national security. And that should concern us all. <<

How long has it been since he ordered the declassification?

Where are the documents?

Is he the President and head of the executive branch or isn’t he?

When the President issues an order is that order subject to review by a cabinet official or a deputy?

And, just in case he hasn’t been informed by his team of crack advisors, concealing criminal activity by classifying it is, in and of itself, a felony.

I would dispute the author’s characterization of “political embarrassment.” It was, as a minimum, a criminal conspiracy and, maybe, espionage involving foreign powers.

Unfortunately, that is the reality. I don’t see Clinton or Obama going down though they richly should, but I could see Brennan, Clapper, or even Comey. Those are at least possible.

I was wondering that too. Has Trump himself seen all these documents?

The FISA warrant is Trump’s honey-pot. He knows it is a felony to redact documents for personal reasons, such as to evade arrest or pursue a criminal act. He faces the decision of when to play this card, before or after the elections. I believe he wants to unleash his enforcement of our Constitution before the elections in order to have the greatest effect. He does this by deleting Feinstein’s, Sessions’, Mueller’s, and Rosenstein’s security clearances, which trigger an investigation as if they were applying for a new one. This cuts the Democrats’ feed to the intelligence community and interferes with their black bag of election tricks. Look for it 10 days before the election.

Ten day before eh? Interesting.

Totally agree he wants to release the docs and he is looking for the best time to do that.

“When the President issues an order is that order subject to review by a cabinet official or a deputy?”

Nope. If they don’t obey, it’s insubordination and they can be canned for that, even in Executive branch positions like the Attorney General that are somewhat protected by legislation from arbitrary firing by the President. None of them are protected from being fired for out and out insubordination.
