Yes there’s at least a decent chance that in 2019 we’ll have a RINO-proof majority in the Senate and a House majority led by someone better than Paul Ryan, maybe even Jim Jordan. That would be good times for us.
McCain is gone and so if the evil David Rockefeller—Mr. Council on Foreign Relations.
As soon as McCain is mentioned, the fog clears and we can see how destructive he was as a force upon the country. His legacy clarifies, daily.
When Murkowsi leaves here’s hoping that our girl Sarah Palin gets in.
Plus President Trump MUST have added something to the Senate Republicans water supply that gave them some courage.
______________
I don't think Murkowski's term ends until 2022.
If they keep it up, they will get their real names back.
So glad McCain is gone.

"Sarah Palin to Murkowski after Kavanaugh vote: 'I can see 2022 from my house."
One wonders - what would McCain have said once the allegations against Kavanaugh started flowing? My intuition is that he wouldve called for Kavanaugh to remove himself from consideration, effectively killing any chance of confirmation and creating a huge divide within the Republican caucus and electorate.
Came here all ready to argue that the big change is Trump negotiating a peace between donors and voters, between the RINOs and the conservatives... which he’s done.
But you’re absolutely right about media-darling McCain’s terrible effect on the Party!
McVain’s replacement is Romney. Utah blew its chance to primary him.
It was simply a matter of the GOP and Kavanaugh fighting back.
Most congresscritters are followers by nature anyway. So, now that Big Daddy Alpha Dawg Trump comes into the room, they want to get on his good side.
I believe that at first, Congress believed the MSM propaganda that Trump would quit in the first six months. However, when they not only saw that he was sticking around, they decided to follow him.
Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans hell bent of making Americas into North Mexico.
If they had been on the side of the citizens and the rule of law we would not have needed Trump.
We would already have a wall and enforcement.
The GOP would only allow US to vote for amnesty candidates since the last amnesty until Trump broke through the Bush Blockade at the RNC.
Flake, Hatch and Corker are quitting.
McCain is dead.
Flake will be replaced by McSallycain.
Hatch replaced by Mittwit Romney.
The only bright spot is Marsha Blackburn replacing Corker.
We have just 4-5 Senators that side with the citizens and the rule of law.
We MUST do better.
Very few Never Trumpers had to stand for election this year. But, all of them in the Senate must do so in the next two election cycles. We need to send them packing in the primaries, and replace them with Conservatives who are willing to stand up to the twits that we have seen on TV this week.
Ben Sasse is no liberal. Ben Sasse has one of the best records in the Senate.
The numeral 2 is not a word.
Thank you for posting. You are a great American, a patriot and a thinker!
I hope you are right that the tide is turning, but I have a question. McCain is gone, yes, but his constituency in Arizona is alive and well. The people of AZ are not unaware of what he had been doing; they liked it and want it again. They WILL have it again! If your point is that McCain had some influential power over Graham and the like, then I understand and take your point, but I ask, will not some other rise to take his place? Any anti-Trump Republican will be lionized in the media exactly as McCain was eventually becoming exactly what he was in exactly the same way and for the same reasons.
Good riddance john mccain
