Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told POLITICO on Saturday that the Judiciary Committee "ought to take a look at" the initial media report of Ford's letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), laying out her assault claim against Kavanaugh. That media report included no details of Ford's allegation, describing its topic as "an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman while they were in high school."
But Republicans have seized on the public disclosure of the letter which the judge's accuser had asked to remain confidential.
"I think It clearly was, honestly, a despicable thing to do to Dr. Ford," McConnell said. "And it kind of underscored the tactics that have been used: It started in committee and then went straight out into the public.”

It appears that there has been a sea change in the Republicans that started with Graham unloading on the Dems. This was like a run scoring hit at a critical time in a baseball game that ignites a rally and convinces the team that it can win.
And then Cornyn, Grassley, McConnell, and of course Kavanaugh going on offense kept scoring more runs for Team GOP.
Could it be that the party has suddenly grown a spine? If they are, Trump certainly was the catalyst for it all.
Or do you not get the absurdity of the whole Russia collusion conspiracy?

Yeah I heard that too about schumer. However, ford testified that she only gave the letter to three people. The lawyers, her congresswomen critter, and ChiFiSpy.
Therefore only one of the 3 could have done it.

Conclusion then is the congresswomen critter did it. But I have not heard her denied it.

Very believable. They have a track record of breaking the rules.
I think its far more important to investigate and prosecute Ford for perjury. How many times did the committee state other witnesses have made statements under threat of felony perjury. Either perjury is a crime or it isnt. Ford appears to have lied multiple times under oath and yet no one is even suggesting she will be charged. How can obvious and provable perjury be ignored for women who make false sexual allegations yet be a felony offense for everyone else?
