CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin on Monday praised Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., for calling for an FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, a move that will delay his Senate confirmation until later this week.
Toobin said Flake deserved credit for the move, after he had previously called Flake "pathetic" for stating that he was ready to confirm Kavanaugh.
"I was very critical of Jeff Flake before last week, that hes big talk, no action," said Toobin. "And I was wrong. He is the person who got this FBI probe going. It was all his initiative. Hats off to him. "

Flake on Friday voted to move forward to a full Senate vote for Kavanaugh, under the condition that the FBI take a week to complete a "limited" investigation of the allegations against Kavanaugh, which Democrats supported.
Flake's proposal won support from a handful of Senate lawmakers who will likely decide whether Kavanaugh can be confirmed, since their votes will be needed to get the 50 votes necessary in the Senate. The Trump administration quickly instructed the FBI to investigate, and Republican leaders in the Senate are hopeful that work can be done quickly so he can be confirmed....

Will he still be thanking Flake when Kavanaugh is seated?
Well, we did learn a lot about the accusers and the democrat party.
We could hold our noses and thank him for that I guess.
Yes, because ANOTHER FBI investigation is going to change the democRATS mind on how to vote.
Toobin is the ultimate scope-creeper.
Once a legal analyst joining in the noise regarding the OJ trial, for some reason we are supposed to care about his views on politics and social issues.
Was listening to Billy Cunningham show last night and both he and Wayne Allyn Root really destroyed Ford’s con job.
One interesting comment was, with all the prior knowledge of protesters likely to descend upon the hearing, wouldn’t security for the senators have been beefed up? The elevator Flake used was accessible to a protester, what if she had a weapon? There was no security in place? Someone of course had a cell phone ready to tape the incident. One of the women is an executive director of Popular Democracy, an organization that receives a major portion of it’s funding from Soros.
The whole incident was staged, Flake was clearly in on it. Flake hates Trump and wants nothing more than to stick it to him on his way out.
At least we know where Flake is headed, after he quits in November.
So... ‘Justice delayed is justice denied’ is just so much BS?
I mean how can they have it both ways?? Oh I forgot, they’re Liberals
The Rats are already creeping scope of the investigation.
Theyll never say it was through.
I agree that 2Bin is a cheap hack, just like his brethren and sisthren Rats.
Yup. Jeffrey has two bins - both “OUT”
Tube in?
Flake lives for this crap.
If Flake and the abortion sisters vote no, how does that happen?

I guess The Toob means pu$$yhats. I don’t have one of those. That’s girlyman stuff.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that cable ‘news’ has almost entirely abandoned any presentation of current events despite their ability to collect and broadcast information on a global scale.
Problem for them is, we can all do that too in this day and age.
So they have turned inward and 23.5 out of every 24 hrs is occupied by talking heads reinforcing each others’ biases.
It’s interesting to note that it’s always via a Q&A session. This is by design. It’s human nature to bestow ‘expert power’ on anyone answering a question. CNN et al know this which is why they have an anchor asking frequently ridiculous questions and panelists offering ridiculous responses - but the format is designed to convince the ignorant and the gullible.
I don't think Flake will ever vote for Kavenaugh.
